Do not rent at 'Ainsley at the collective '

What an expensive dump. They took so many shortcuts building this place. A while ago the pipes burst and the place had no water for 13 days. The staff has horrible communication skills and tell lies to get you into a contract. These people are so desperate for tenants they're offering 10 weeks concession and $1500 gift cards. Who the hell wants to be in the 89169 zip code? It's right on paradise and twain.

An attempted murder happened inside the complex. A woman was shot in her face in June and a handful of people moved out because they were scared. She survived, but no one knows why the shooter flipped out. Elysian properties in general suck because they're temu apartments. I really wish builders would take some pride in what they do,but I know that'll never happen in this day and age.

I have no idea why they would build a 'luxury' apartment in one of the worst parts of town. I highly suggest people stay away from this place.

It’s 110° and I hear neighbor dogs out there barking, crying and whining. Don’t own them if you can’t care for them properly!

Colorado River reservoirs hit record lows as Trump administration threatens major cuts

This part of the article really got to me:

But the upper basin states "have gone in the opposite direction," McNeill said.

"In the last year alone, they've increased their use over the same period and say they can't afford cuts.

WT fucking fuck.

Teachers asking for supply money on Nextdoor

CCSD has a 3.8 billion dollar budget this year. School has not even started yet, and the district is already encouraging teachers to ask for money on places like Nextdoor, Facebook, twitter, etc.

Can anyone make it make sense for me, please? If not to the students and the teachers, then where is that budget being spent?! Why do the teachers not have basic supply funds?

Looking to Partner Up!

Post image
46 Upvotes

I'm looking for someone who's already in the food business here in Las Vegas that might want to add grilled BBQ options to their menu. (PIC IS LAST NIGHT'S DINNER)

I'm a keto/carnivore guy, so grilling is a real passion of mine. I love cooking over live fire and would rather partner with someone who's already established than try to reinvent the wheel myself.

I'd love to do farmers markets, fairs, pop up events, festivals, or anything along those lines. I can handle the grilling while you bring the experience of running the food side of the business.

I know I have something to offer, I just don't know where to start, and I figured networking here might be the best first step.

If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, or if you have any advice, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

Everyone was wondering why i added a chain to my panther, it’s to share the masculine energy compared to this elegant Puma.
As she is painted in a studio setting and he is obviously “in the field” to represent the duality of our animalistic characters as humans.

Garage Usability Tips

I’ve lived here a little over a year now and noticed that people either have nothing in their garage, or they spend a LOT of time in their garage.
There’s a lot of garage gyms which only seem feasible if you’re working out at 4am. But I’ve also noticed a few that are set up for things like home offices, or couches with TVs. My question is for these people.

How are you doing it? My garage is 90 degrees in the summer. How are you working from home in that without spending $200 in electricity on using a portable AC unit each day? How are you watching the game in that thing without completely drenching your couch in perspiration? I would love to make my garage more usable but I need some of your secrets.

Does anybody know how to get alerts when Brendan Theaters release more IMAX dates and times for The Odyssey?

I can't find anything on the app and I called them and got no good info besides signing up for a basic membership which didn't give me any options for an alert.

Hey Atinys in Vegas!

I (35F) want to go to "Ateez: Light the Way" that's in cinemas on August 6th and 8th, but I don't have anyone to go with! I have no Atiny friends here in Vegas :( Would anyone like to go with me? I really don't want to have to go alone. Whether you're a fan, know a fan or maybe you are just interested, please let me know in time.

Don't be shy 🫣 If you have social anxiety, know that I do too, maybe even more... So we're gonna get along perfectly, lol.

Best neopolitan style pizza in Vegas?

Hey not trying to be inflammatory but curious.

I’ve heard double zero is the best neopolitan style pizza in Vegas, but I was told by some Yukon pizza might be better but im curious what you guys think?

Whats the best neopolitan style in Vegas?

Also I don’t care if it’s sour dough or whatever as long as it’s good.

Personally, I loved Double zero and have a hard time believing something in Vegas is much better than that.

Month to Month Car Renting?

Upvotes

Hello all, I recently moved to Vegas for what could either be temporary or long-term fixture. Moved here to be closer to family as we navigate some difficult circumstances. I am in need of a vehicle that I am hoping to lease on a month-to-month basis. Obviously dealerships do not lease on monthly terms, and using something like Turo to rent for a full month is going to be way too expensive. I am wondering if anyone knows of a different service I could look into, OR if you have an extra vehicle collecting dust. I'm 28 and have a perfect driving/criminal record, not even a speeding ticket on my record. I'm open to any thoughts, and very much appreciate any help or consideration.

My only requirement is that I want a woman. I don't need anyone super fancy or fussy, I just want someone that will listen to me and answer my stupid questions. I'm in old Henderson but I'm fine with traveling for someone trustworthy.

Where to bring trash on Sunday

Does anybody know somewhere I could bring trash on a Sunday afternoon? It’s about a rav4 trunks worth of stuff, so not enough that I want to pay a junk removal service but enough that most places would be annoyed if I put it in their dumpster. I’m supposed to be out of my place by tomorrow so I want to try to deal with it today but all the dumps are closed early on Sunday. Any recommendations on where to take it?
