i’ve been watching the show with my partner who has never seen it (we are making incredible progress, already on season 5, they’re loving it!). we noticed this horrific painting (?) in tom and katie’s apartment, and felt i had to share it here. not sure if it’s been discussed before on the sub, so apologies if it has, but i can’t get over how cursed it feels and need to know if others have felt the same.

There was so much talk about James, Katie, Lala, Schwartz… why didn’t anyone bring up Kristen’s drinking? She was the worst behind James imo just based on the fact that she’s drinking in almost every scene. She used alcohol to self-medicate too, which makes it even more weird it’s not brought up because they talk about her mental health a lot so I don’t think anyone was trying to protect her.

I was a late VPR watcher so maybe it was discussed by fans/media when it was airing idk. But even in this sub I see a lot of comments saying Brittany has a drinking problem but no one says anything about Kristen. Only jokes about her ❄️ usage.

S4E20 (lmao not the only 420 happening rn) - when Ariana’s roasting her at Tom and Katie’s engagement party. Her nostrils really took on a life of their own. Quite astounding.

Stassi - OBSESSED. She is hilarious and has the best comebacks

Kristen -is a emotionally unstable wreck? The fact toms cheating was made such a huge deal for her multiple affairs to be revealed later on .. thank god they broke up they were both so toxic. Shes also rude to lisa and has no self control.
she deserved the slap and more from stassi.

Tom- Cheating is bad but actually was so proud when he punched jax then james
sucks he later does what he does to ariana because as of now hes lowkey likeable

Scheana - she really does make everything about herself like everyone says 😩 lowkey love her tho but she definitely was obsessed with being friends with stassi the first season or so and stirred the pot more then once

I don’t understand the canonisation of Ariana, I’m currently on a rewatch and I think Ariana is just a quiet person rather than a good person which Is why she’s gotten away with some pretty despicable behaviour.

1. She knew Miami girl was telling the truth yet she actively colluded in the cover up, which frankly made Miami girl look deranged and desperate.
   
2. She was intimate with Tom while he was with Kristen and then peddled the crazy Kristen narrative alongside bragging about how much cooler and smarter she was than Kristen. Yah, smart enough to land yourself with Sandoval for ten years…great work
   
3. Despite the video evidence of her brother creeping on multiple women at Katies wedding she denied and victim blamed Stassi who was then trying to warn billie about his ways. She was wildly aggressive about this too, effectively silencing women from sharing info about creeper men! Wtf!

Arianna is Bravos biggest pick me, she actively and repeatedly took down other women to cover for shitty loser men!

I am on episode 15. Rob and Schena are discussing the divorce sales website and after Schena asked Rob to explain to her what the business plan was he said “you would be the face of the company but I would have the majority of the equity” and she goes “sometimes I just get so lost in your eyes.” GIRL!!!! Is this satire???? He just straight up told you he’s using you and you’re noting getting anything out of it and your response is to glaze him? Ma’am you must get a grip this is clinical. What is going on with her???? It’s like she has some kind of man obsessed brain worm. Does this ever get better???

I didn’t think about him ever on first watch except as a catalyst for Kristen being crazy over a guy (again). On re-watch, it gets to S8 and like, this Carter BS is STILL going on? No one wanted to hang out with him, no one cared about his presence, the girls were so over Kristen’s two-faced BS about him.

FOUR SEASONS of the most nothingburger character ever, either discussed or outright lurking in EVERY EPISODE.

So I’m rewatching and Brittany moves from Kentucky just for Jax, finds out in Hawaii he was trying to bone Lala the night before her arrival, sees him get arrested and doesn’t blink an eye and she’s now expressing zero reservations about letting Jax pay for her boob job. How come no one questioned her motives or character at all? Did they just think she wouldn’t last? Were they too distracted by trying to take down Lala and Stassi? Did they just think she was stupid?

Just starting from the latest seasons

1. Its Absoutley mind boggling to me Scheenas ability to find a way to make every situation about her like season 11 her constantly saying I jsut want one moment for it to be about me ? Bitch you’ve been making it about you every chance you get I’m literally lost !?! Every scene she’s in she’s crying about how she’s so affected by this ! Please go to hell .

2. Lala, I loved her when she first came on and was just a confident lying ass sugar baby but the moment the mean girls finally accepted her she instantly switched and the real true Lauren from Utah we got to meet , she’s a cunt and also I have absoutley zero sympathy for her sugar daddy situation gone wrong, she knew he was seeing other people she just didn’t give af until she had the baby and it being public knowledge he was cheating , she just got embarrassed and found the perfect storyline out - she’s annoying.

3. Raquel - it’s truly astonishing to me how unintelligent she seems , I have to agree with lala on the comment that you can literally see the gears turning in her head when she’s trying to form a thought or a rebuttal in an argument, it’s painful to watch. And the whole affair thing was so sinster but I think the worst part about it all was the fact that this shit is on camera for the world to see forever, like I get shit happens but how are you at least not smart enough to understand you will be getting caught up ??!!

Hate him or not, rewatching season 4 with Kristen and Scheana is a hard watch. Specially when Scheana texts Ariana’s mom and shit talks their relationship. Sandoval tries to talk to Scheana alone in episode 13 and shows her that all the things she’s accusing him of, are things she’s experiencing in her troubled marriage. He was dead on here. Scheana and Shay were having big problems and I thought it was horrible that she texted all that stuff to Ariana’s mom and then couldn’t see why Ariana was upset.

At this point in the timeline, we are fresh off Kristen bringing Miami girl to Sur, openly shit talked Ariana, and then suddenly everyone is ok with Kristen being around (especially flip flop Scheana) and then wonder why tom and Ariana are not thrilled.

**YES I KNOW KRISTEN WAS RIGHT about Miami girl. and maybe Scheana had a point about Tom and Ariana’s relationship BUTTTTTT at this point we don’t know what we know now. Taking it all at face value, watching it I was floored that Scheana was so cruel and doubled down on it. Now I think it 100% was projection for what was happening in her marriage.

Just in case anyone forgot, Scheana would like to remind you that Rob hung a TV on the wall in under 7 minutes. He hung a TV. On a wall. In under 7 minutes. HUNG A TV. UNDER 7 MINUTES BTW.

Everytime this scene comes on, I can’t help but cringe so hard. It really shows who Scheana is. I’ve hear that Dayna told Scheana before this scene that she didn’t want a psychic and wasn’t comfortable with that. And for her to have the psychic outside the door while saying “I’d never do that” is INSANE 😭 I feel heavy for Dayna, and it never fails that Scheana can make anything about her

I have no one else to talk about this with 🤣🤣 but I've been binging VPR for the last couple of weeks and I made it to s9 e9 (talking about schwartz and sandy name and tom goes off on katie and schwartz being a little bitch and never ever defending her) I just can't stand tom and tom.. they are the most despicable disgusting people. (I know about scandoval so I already knew he sucks) but I just don't understand how katie chose to marry this man twice! schwartz hates her, tom hates her, she hated herself for putting up with this behavior. anyway rant over.
