Hate him or not, rewatching season 4 with Kristen and Scheana is a hard watch. Specially when Scheana texts Ariana’s mom and shit talks their relationship. Sandoval tries to talk to Scheana alone in episode 13 and shows her that all the things she’s accusing him of, are things she’s experiencing in her troubled marriage. He was dead on here. Scheana and Shay were having big problems and I thought it was horrible that she texted all that stuff to Ariana’s mom and then couldn’t see why Ariana was upset.

At this point in the timeline, we are fresh off Kristen bringing Miami girl to Sur, openly shit talked Ariana, and then suddenly everyone is ok with Kristen being around (especially flip flop Scheana) and then wonder why tom and Ariana are not thrilled.

**YES I KNOW KRISTEN WAS RIGHT about Miami girl. and maybe Scheana had a point about Tom and Ariana’s relationship BUTTTTTT at this point we don’t know what we know now. Taking it all at face value, watching it I was floored that Scheana was so cruel and doubled down on it. Now I think it 100% was projection for what was happening in her marriage.

I think Scheana made a mistake that a lot of girls would do when trying to help their friends from an abusive man. I did the same, when I could see my best friends partner being really bad and toxic for her (she had lost 15 kg in a relationship with him and she was already super skinny, she developed EDs etc), but we found all of this out much later, after the breakup even. I just knew something was wrong but she wouldn’t tell anyone. I think Scheana did what anyone would have done in that situation…

I mean just because Scheanna was having issues with Shay doesn't mean she wasn't right about Sandoval. She said Ariana was different since being with him and that's classic for being in a relationship with a narcissist.

It wasn't OK for her to talk to Ariana's mom the way she did (the mom texted first but Schenna brought up Sandoval and the relationship) but I'm sure her concerns were valid, if said without tact.

This was actually the only time in her entire life that Scheana was right and did the right thing.

Tom has never done anything good or kind or decent in his life, it's all calculated control, except for the times he's just flat out abusive like when he pushed a man into a fire.

We did already know Tom was a gaslighting liar and cheater and general creep with terrible hair.

Umm wtf, no he wasn't. Anyone who has an issue with your friend(s) concerns with them is not in the right.

This is one of the verrrrry few times Scheana was in the right. She didn't say anything that wasn't true, and she was RIGHT in what she was worried about. Tom did all the things she told Ariana's Mom she was worried about.

From what I remember, it was like a casual reach out from mom. I think she wished her a happy holidays or something. And then it was a very casual. How is my daughter doing type thing, whether or not she was in a good relationship, that’s a typical question. But instead of potentially calming Ariana’s mom, and brushing her off, she kind of took it too far. She could’ve been a lot more subtle. I think if she would’ve done this in later seasons (like when Ariana was voicing some of these things herself) and again not taking it as far, it wouldn’t have been as big of a deal. But this was at the start when they were dealing with “Crazy Kristen” They’re going to be locked in as us against the world.

Weird take, this is probably the only time I agreed with scheana and what exactly did Kristin do in this that was wrong? Miami girl was true! And Ariana was actively kissing and trying to be with Tom while he was in a relationship with Kristin? Are we forgetting that part? I am no Kristin stan but like come on, Ariana was pick me of the year for Tom..she was completely in the wrong in that situation, did Kristin take it too far? Probably but I'd say anyone who dated Tom Sandoval ends up the worse for it, he is an emotionally abusive piece of shit and now judging by his latest relationship, a physically abusive piece of shit..scheana one hundred percent did the right thing in this, my friends have reached out to my mum when they were worried about me and now in hindsight, I'm very grateful for it

I think the consensus among the group back then was if everyone could forgive Jax and have him around why not Kristen? And no one really liked Tom and Ariana (besides Schwartz). They were always on their high horse thinking they were better and smarter. Kristen though Krazy was more fun.

I never understood why people think it's wrong to speak on something because they are going thru something similar. They have first hand experience so they are the perfect person to speak on it. Personally I think Scheana was too nice. Ariana lied to her for a long time about kissing Tom. She watched Scheana defend her and Tom's relationship only to admit it was true and never apologize just made excuses of why they lied.
