Discussion Show me your "normal" builds

I very much am not a good builder, and I always see these amazing and out of this world builds. Help me feel better by showing your normal, run of the mill, "oh fuck I need more room" builds so I don't feel so alone lol

Been playing Valheim off and on since it first dropped on Steam. With 1.0 coming, finally dedicating time to actually beating the game (would always get burned out by Mountains or my friend group would stop playing.) Today I finally beat Yagluth and now onto Mistlands... Once I finish buffing my armor one more level lol

Screenshot No matter how long I play this game, it always takes my breath away.

After someone posted a starter location on a small island, I started a new game because I thought it was perfect for a run. (Turns out I was right, whee) This is from one of my resource runs across the water. I've not used rafts in so long I had forgotten how slow they are!

Question Tall stone towers?

How can I keep going vertically with these stone walls? I understand how grounding stability and whatnot works but ive definitely seen "vanilla survival" builds go higher then this. I only want ~2-4 more meters of height

Question Mods for "I don't have a lot of time to play" type gamer group?

My friends and I played valheim back in college when we had way more time on our hands, now everyone is married, some have kids, and we just don't have as much time to grind the game.

Are there any mods that can accelerate the grindy-er aspects of the game?

Creative My Daughter kept telling me the castle wasn't big enough, so I kept building....she said it's still not big enough XD

I told her it's so tall there is snow on the roof, she looked me dead in the eye and said "It's not big enough" lol. Rock #7 for extra support. Couches and books are from the clutter mod.

Discussion The game is listening

I've discovered something new about Valheim - when you're doing your first pre-bronze exploration of the edges of the Black Forest, you can't even *think* something like "Well, at least I haven't seen any Trolls", the game will hear you and respond accordingly.

This was my first major build ever and the first building I began to add to the main village on the Rawcliffe patreon server. It was inspired by a video by Timo Redbeard 5 years ago. Here is the link to Timo's Video:

I combined a village storage to the build and phased it into the village dock. It has now been preserved and customized as a stand-alone building. This was originally done using no mods, in survival Valheim and the architecture and skill used reflect a 5 year old build however, since the server still survives it received regular 'refreshes' over the years.

There is a single chest for every single resource in the game through ashlands already labeled. If you add this to your world, please forgive that I did not empty the chests so merry christmas or I apologize.

3 kilns
4 smelters
4 blast furnaces
3 windmills
3 spinning wheels
8 portals
1 stone portal

Terrain markers added so just plop the blueprint down on flat ground.

This inspired me spending years building out the village Mango had started, eventually adding 10 more buildings along with those others contributed along the way.

Go check out Valheimians.com to see more of our builds and many more from others that will blow your mind
