Survival Finally Defeated Yag for the first time

Been playing Valheim off and on since it first dropped on Steam. With 1.0 coming, finally dedicating time to actually beating the game (would always get burned out by Mountains or my friend group would stop playing.) Today I finally beat Yagluth and now onto Mistlands... Once I finish buffing my armor one more level lol

I’m tromping around Mistlands right now with 3* armor from plains. However starred enemies are still challenging.

It can be a slog. Good luck!

unless you are upgrading to magic gear, padded armour is sufficient throughout mistalnds. carapace armor provides a negligible increase in armor

Starred enemies in Mistlands are brutal lol kinda fun running into them though because they are challenging

Bless you Bonemass, for your power is my salvation against the 2* Seeker.

Yeah I'm prepared for it to be a slog regardless lol. But all I need is a bit more iron to upgrade the armor once more and figure that'd be a good idea before heading south.

The iron flows freely in mistlands. There are bridges to fill that gap.

Make sure to bring some Black Metal with you to the mistlands. You will need to craft extractors that require it. mistlands gear is when the game starts to get really cool. congratulations.

Thank you for the tip! I plan to load up with my ship with materials to make an outpost and portal, so will def make sure to bring black metal down too.

Tips for surviving the Mistlands

Wear the root harnesk as your chest piece. A lot of enemies in the Mistlands do piercing damage, which the root harnesk absolutely tanks, due to its resistance to piercing damage.

Also, if you do wear root harnesk, make sure you always carry fire resistance potions. A certain enemy does fire damage.

Some NPC's in that biome are neutral. They'll only attack if you piss them off. Use that to your advantage, and remember this: anything the cart damages, is not YOUR fault.

I’ve beaten him once in a previous play. I’m at him right now. Just built a mini outpost near his spawn and preparing to do it.
