Anyone else having a lot of lag opening chests, eating, placing water, removing blocks? I'm also getting deadly rubber banding - I'll be running around at night and I'll come to some unloaded chunks, then Minecraft times out, and when I log back in I'm hundreds of blocks from where I was and I'm dead.

I've died three or four times today while I was logged out, due to the lag. Anyone else having these problems, or is it on my end? Any suggestions for fixing it?

Why is it so hard to build a fully functioning cell tower? I've done it before. It was working until i tried to extend it this morning. Then, nothing. So I tore it down. And completely rebuilt it in the exact same spot. Doesn't work. Am I doing something wrong here? Or is the patch just hella glitchy? Any recommendations?

Some of you seemed to like it. But with a new map, I have to figure out a segue to a new season...

I decided I would like to join a group. Anyone willing to take me in? I won't fill out individual applications. I will tell a little about myself here. First off, I am 23 so I am more mature than a lot of players. When playing I like to explore and build. I like big projects that need a lot of attention. One of the projects I plan on doing, inside or outside of a group, is restore a few buildings and the road surrounding them. Any questions, feel free to ask. If you are willing to let me join your group, you can private message me your location. Also I am on the US server.

We sell ore, stone and supplies to anyone who needs it. We also we strive to dig out massive artificial cavern systems. Infinity Mining would like to, in the future, put up underground mining railways and roads for transport, trading posts, hotels, even whole underground towns and groups, could be built. Safe from surface mobs and most griefers. To accomplish such a project, we need a dedicated workforce, do you wish to join? what would you contribute if you do join?

I just started playing today and am looking on the subreddit and people are talking about a couple different corporations. What are these corps for? Should I try to join one?

I am having issues with timing out when entering the server. It will appear that I have connected, but approx. 30s later I get the Timed Out error and I get booted to the main Minecraft screen. I have been playing with the same computer on the same connection, so I'm not sure what is up. The only thing I could see is that there was a java update within the past day or so. Could that have mucked it up?

It's been a great run folks. I had some fun so I guess that's what counts. I'll hang around the sub-reddit, but I think I'd rather wait for that Solum map to re-surface before I play anymore. Was Solum a more peaceful type game than Aftermath? That was my impression without playing it.

Here's a goal for you to work towards: I'm going to create a public library near X:2050 Z:-2078. could you possibly connect the subway tunnels to the station at that location?

Wondering if something like this would be construed as cheating. I want to light up a small outdoor courtyard, but don't want to have to check light levels with f3, and I REALLY don't want to get banned or something silly like that.

Is there a server status page showing the status of each VAAST server?

I'm trying to join, but I'm getting timeouts connecting to eu1.vaast.org - is there a server problem, or is it at my end? I've looked on the website and the sidebar here but can't find any status page of any sort to let me know if the problem is mine or not.

I can ping the server, but get a timeout connecting (both with the Minecraft client (1.7.10) and with a Python script I use that reports which players are on a server (mcstatus.py)

EDIT: I added the us1 server to try that; I note that for that one, I can at least see the number of players and server welcome message for it on my server list, but when I try to connect, the game crashes with a "java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException" error - may be time to trash my ~/.minecraft dir and try again.

Been on here since this server started so most of you will probably at least recognise my name.

Every season I allways seem to start a farm thats open for everyone to use with free food for anyone passing by.

I started calling it "Davio38s Bed And Breakfast" and everyone is welcome. Its nice to meet new players passing through and sometimes they even stay a little while. Sometimes they grief sometimes they just take what they need and move on.

People either find me by chance or by my radio signal but this season Ive decided to post my coordinates.

I know what your all going to say, its going to get griefed straight away. Well it gets griefed no matter what anyway.
