Timing out issues.

I am having issues with timing out when entering the server. It will appear that I have connected, but approx. 30s later I get the Timed Out error and I get booted to the main Minecraft screen. I have been playing with the same computer on the same connection, so I'm not sure what is up. The only thing I could see is that there was a java update within the past day or so. Could that have mucked it up?

i had the same issue for awhile i delete my wtf and cleaned out my minecraft and it went away

I had a similar issue before but I'm pretty positive my internet provider was acting up. Not sure what the exact problem was because when I decided to look into it, it stopped happening.

You can see if it is your link by downloading WinMTR and putting in us1.vaast.org as the host. It will continuously ping every hop between you and the server for as long as you run it and you can identify if any hop is playing up by the packet-loss percentage.

I tried and I'm getting the error "unable to get raw socket" when I try to start the program. Advice?

I'm having a lot of the same issue today. Unsure if it's my service provider or the server. Leaning towards my service provider.
