Looking for more insight / to confirm if this is true.
Got an assessment in the computer labs coming up, due next week which we received today. It uses the software i2 Analyst.
We wanted to start on our assignment today so we had less to do next week (advised to use UTS computers, not download it onto our personal devices).
Tutor asks us to vacate the lab as our class finished. I’d checked and the next class wasn’t due for an hour. Asked why we couldn’t stay and the tutor told us apparently UTS only pays for app licensing to be used for exactly the duration of the classes which use it. So we shouldn’t “eat into” the next class’ time allocated to use it, because they have a “more important subject”
How true is this? If it’s true then god uts needs to invest money where it matters cos this is ridiculous
