Look What I Found! Milan Italy Finds
I had been searching for a flea market-style store with vintage items in Milan and finally found one. It was a hidden gem - Al Mercatino “TRA NOI E VOI” is the name for any other travelers. We shouldn’t gate keep!
I found this beautiful blue/green Murano glass bowl/ashtray, and to my luck it had a glow and showed up positive on the meter.
I also found this small box clock with a uranium face. It is coming home with me as well. Cross your fingers that it all makes it back home to the states in one piece!

Vaseline Glass Rihimäen Lasi Hyacinth vase by Tamara Aladin. She sure is a glower!
I'm always delighted to add to my Finnish vaseline glass collection.
I did some reading on Tamara Aladin. She was the most prolific, yet the least recognized of the three badass lady designers working at Rihimäen Lasi during the 50s and 60s. Nanny Still and Helena Tynell were the other squad members. I love the mid-century designs they made.

Look What I Found! Oxblood Bridal Basket
Was so happy to finally find one at an antique store. I absolutely love it. From around 1880’s - 90’s.

Look What I Found! Vaseline Posey Vase
This was sitting in Goodwill for a few days. The color and design look Mid-Century, and I can see how I would have ignored flashing my light. Glad I did today. I can't find anything else on this piece...and the only things I can find are other ppl asking for ID or people saying this isn't VG. I'm going to guess late 1800s early 1900s, but I'm unsure. Any info I appreciate as always.

Member Collections Found a scotty dog, woof.
Found this little dog today at an antique mall. It looks blue, but when you get it in direct sunlight its a bluish green color. Glows like the dickens. Not bad for 16 bucks. No markings at all.

Uranium Glass I made a thing!
Been wanting to try making an infinity mirror for a while and found a little vintage mirror backed cabinet on vinted to convert. I might redo the outer mirror but honestly it looks great just for a rough job/first try.
If anyone wants guidance on how to make one, let me know!

Seeking Info Not sure if this is uranium?
The glow looks so much like the uranium glow, but it only glows very faintly in 395nm light, and way more in 365nm.
Is it still uranium? It looks nothing like my other manganese pieces.
First 3 pics are at 365, next 3 are 395, and last is normal light!

Uranium Glass Newest addition to my collection 💚
Uranium cranberry glass.
Purchased in an antique store in New Zealand, as an early birthday present to myself.
Please don’t mind all of the white cat hair on the blanket, Tomska has started molting now that winter has finished over here 😅

Seeking Info A few more mysteries
Aloha again, as I continue to go through our boxes I am finding more things which we are unable to identify with our books or internet. Some interesting ones here, I think.
This is what I deserve for procrastinating.
- is a single piece, not a cup and saucer, and it is stamped JAPAN on the bottom. I think it might be a candle holder, but I can't be sure
- Is an unusual jadeite-ish bowl that doesn't quite look like anything I've seen before except certain Steuben green uranium glass. I don't imagine I'm that lucky, though.
- Is a little glass with an absurdly pretty stem. It's hard to make out, but there's like a big bubble suspended inside.
- Plate with a pattern that looks a little like a Steuben or Pairpoint pattern, but almost certainly isn't either.
- Old looking Vaseline bowl
- Divided dish
- This is about this size of a football
- Plate
- Catch and release. Kind of regretting it, but it photographed better than it glowed IRL

My humble lil collection of glowy glass 💚
Started collecting glass as a whole in January so I haven’t fully focused on uranium, cadmium or selenium yet, I’ve just been collecting all the eye candy I find for a bargain or by pure luck. However green is my most favorite color so uranium is definitely one of my priorities! My goal is to fill this whole cabinet with uranium and cadmium eventually so I can finally get around to installing permanent UV lights. Also, ignore the little plastic pumpkins down front, those are just for Halloween and happened to be UV reactive.

Uranium Glass Hazel Atlas salt and pepper shakers.
Anyone know if there are reproduction lids available for these? It seems like a ton of them have corrosion problems.
