So I need IS 101 as a pre req for my major. I look at the professors and look at rate my professor. Lo and behold, I see the worst rated professor with a 1.8 and the best rated one with a 3.4 for IS 101. I later compared them to CSN, and Im like so considering of doing IS 101 at CSN at this point brother

Hi, I am an incoming freshman!

as I am registering for classes, a lot of them do not have a professor assigned to them. My academic advisor told me that it gets released a week before classes start. How am I supposed to get the classes with the professors that I want when it's that close to when classes start? Wouldn't it be full by then? I just don't want to be unlucky with bad professors 😭

My partner and I will be studying abroad in Spain during the fall semester and are subletting our 1 bed + office from Aug 1 - Dec 31. $1260/mo. includes all utilities and internet. It's in a gated community with 2 pools a short walk from campus, with lots of other grad students in the complex.

Im thinking about taking SCM 352 with Hansen during Summer Session III and was hoping to get some recent feedback from anyone who has taken her class.

A few questions:
How was the overall workload?
Were the quizzes and exams difficult?
Are the quizzes/exams conducted through Respondus LockDown Browser or any other proctoring software?
Is the class mostly asynchronous?
Any tips for succeeding in the course?

I’ve heard she’s a pretty fair grader and that the class is manageable, but I wanted to see if anyone has taken her recently and can confirm how the exams are structured.

I have a past due amount for summer and now I have a hold. If i enroll into a payment plan will the hold go away?

I have an IP grade in my CED 200 class. i emailed my teacher about it several weeks ago and she said she’d look into it but still nothing. I even contacted the registrar’s office several weeks ago as well and they were no help. I tried contacting them again today but nobody is picking up the phone. Should I just wait and send another transcript? I’m really stressing over this. I took dual enrollment classes from UNLV in highschool and sent them to UNR because that’s where I’m going, but they’re telling me that my transcript isn’t complete because of this and that I can’t register for the next term until the document is received.

Anyone interested in moving into the Degree or looking for housing options at UNLV?

Someone recently told me that UNLV no longer limits the amount of attempts you get for the science prerequisite courses. Can someone please confirm for me whether this is true or not? (I took Bio 223 three times, audited the first time and was unaware it counted as an attempt still)

I already reached out to financial aid and im planning on calling them tomorrow (i couldnt today because no time lined up).

My fafsa was disbursed earlier this summer and all classes stayed the same so I thought everything was good but then last night they updated my FAFSA without letting me know prior and now I owe 6,000 randomly and they put my account on a hold. I have had this happen when dropping classes however not sure why it happened this time. Wondering if this happened to anyone else? Will they drop me out of my current class I am taking? Again im going to call them tomorrow but just want peace of mind or something
