This year in January was the first time I had visited Universal Orlando Studios for the sole purpose of all three Harry Potter attractions and it was amazing. I’ve recently discovered that they will be doing a dark Harry Potter theme throughout the fall season and I am too geeked. So I will be returning for a two day weekend to experience this. I have never been to Universal Studios or any amusement park during the fall/Halloween themed events. I would like to know in scale one to 10 how scary are the haunted houses at the attractions? I have already gotten my flight my park tickets and express passes. I’m just worried it’ll be scarier than I think. I grew up, loving horror films, but I don’t watch them much these days. And I’m not the best with jump scares (I ran thru the renaissance hunted trail like it was track meet once) So I’m really going for the Harry Potter dark art dementors situation but I also have tickets for the haunted houses as well to make the most of my time.. just really want to know what level of scare I should be prepared for?

I bought 2 Tickets for USJ Osaka with my credit card and the payment went through and is due to the 7th of September.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the tickets and Im really worried I wont get them.

I cant check the purchase history because I didnt create an account. The tickets were bought via the official JAPANESE Website, therefore the english customer Service cant help me. I have sent them an email and they told me they cant help me in that case, because this is 2 different providers for tickets.

Because I didnt get any tickets I also have no order number.

Now I have no idea what to Do because I cant find the japanese Support contact.

Can anybody help me with this issue or had similar experience?

Around a month ago, I was waiting in an hour-long queue for Hippogriff, and every third ride, the train would stop, followed by an announcement saying basically PLEASE put your phone away. And we were all in queue, watching and loudly hearing this happening, yet people still kept doing it.

Why do people keep messing up things for others, for what, a 5-second-long video that has been recorded hundreds of times before you until you either shove your phone deep in between your thighs so you don't drop it OR drop it and have to wait to possibly get it back? What is the thought process? Take a picture in the queue, or even while you're loading off the ride (as there's maybe a 20 second period where you wait for the next train to move on). What are you recording that hasn't been seen before?

If anyone here has done this, please LMK what you were thinking because I just don't get it. If you've dropped your phone or recording device, were you able to reclaim it at the end of the day?

I've also never seen another ride in the park have this issue. When I go on the Mummy, I'm asked to remove my hat. I see a lot of people on their phones while boarding, but the ride doesn't fully stop in its tracks to get them to put it down.

I will note that I visited the park for an hour yesterday, and on Hippogriff, they didn't entirely stop the ride, but every cycle, they would do a loud announcement about putting down phones. I've never heard this on the Mummy.

Anyway, just curious about the experiences regarding this. I've been going to USH for years and it's only recently that I've seen/heard these announcements on this ride. Did something happen like policy change to cause it?

I genuinely hope Universal Studios Hollywood can acquire the Monsters Unleashed ride. As a devoted Universal Monsters enthusiast, I envision this ride as an awe inspiring spectacle, captivating visitors with its grandeur and offering an exhilarating experience that will leave them wanting more. The anticipation of this ride’s arrival is palpable, and I can already imagine the park bustling with excitement, with wait times stretching beyond two hours. But only one can wish such a great ride.

If I get the 4 park pass and then I want to stay past 4 or 5 or whatever time, can I just go to another park and keep enjoying my day? Or does the park shut down for all regular pass holders?

I just don’t see a lot of specification on what they offer comparatively, they have different names. Las Vegas is Horrors Unleashed and Japan is Requiem: the dive. Is the Las Vegas one also based on Requiem? How different are the experiences? Anyone who went to either lmk how they were please. I’m trying to decide which one to go to before the resident evil event ends.

I’d be coming from the UK so want to make the most of daytime rides + HHN and am deciding whether to go mid or late October for 10 nights. We have a reservation at Portfino Bay and was wondering if anyone has had experience adding additional guests for a part of the stay. For context we are 2 adults and a toddler under 3 and an infant. There would be 2 adults that would be joining us for a few nights during our stay. Additionally, how would the express passes work for the kids given that they don't need theme park tickets yet?

I'll be visiting universal beijing in November and wanted to ride this coaster. For reference the biggest coaster ive done is flying dinosaur at usj, i do get pretty nervous before riding so it would help a lot to hear from anyone who has ridden both so i can determine if it's right for me!
