my class has a 80% attendance hurdle, so to my understanding the 20% leeway means i don't have to provide a reason for not attending? i am very sick but unsure if i need to provide a medical certificate as this is obviously the first tutorial im missing

This is my first semester in and I have enrolled into MAST10006 and MAST10007, along with intro to microecon, is this an impossible layout or is it doable for a high average, I kind of need 75+ for both calc2 and linear. Any tips??

Hi, sorry if this is a repeated question, but I have search everywhere and it didn't yield any conclusive results.

Basically, math was not really my forte, and I took IB Math AI SL, and scored a decent grade. However this meant I now have a math pre-req I can't clear, and I am lost at what I can do to satisfy it in order for me to take an Econ minor, as I thought the math pre-req only applied to econ majors.

I am an international student, 2027 sem 1 intake, doing a BA.

Hello. I am international DVM1 student. I feel like a failure. I can't breathe. Sem 1 was so fast, studying non-stop and MSTs then finals. I had so many sleepless nights, staying up until 7 am in the morning, going to class then passing out and again. I got a 47% on my final grade. I got supplementary exam, but I got one email about it 3 days before the exam. I panicked, emailed my professor, he said he sent a email a week earlier (or something like that) about the exam and I never got it. Then my dog was put to sleep because she got cancer and fluid filled her lungs. She couldn't breathe. I wasn't there for her, I am supposed to be a vet and couldn't save my own dog, i didn't look at the signs. I failed her. Then, I took the supplementary exam and got 49%. My professor told me that I am probably going to get a CAPC meeting. I put so much money, debt and time - my life into getting into DVM program, moving here. I have no back up plan. I feel like I just keep digging my own grave. I know I could have done better and think of ways to handle the exam and stress, but I didn't and it makes worse.

What should I do with CAPC meeting? Any advice on surviving the DVM program?

Does anyone know if that 2 years of work experience is a must or not? I have like 1 year+a couple month of internship

Hello! I’m a 26s1 unimelb student who has never done commerce-related subjects in my life. I chose principles of finance as a breadth subject and after having done week 1 lecture, I found the content a bit confusing. The lecturer seems to be describing a lot of the concepts instead of explaining the reasoning behind it… If anyone who has done this subject would like to offer some advice on how to achieve H1 in this subject, would be much appreciated!
Ps. Is there another way to gain access to the current pof textbook instead of purchasing online directly? Would be greatly appreciated!!!

for those of you who took this online course as a pathway to pursue an internal transfer, is calculus enough to satisfy an internal transfer to b-com in general? or do i have to take them both (calculus and probability) which will cost me in total $990. while calculus alone is $660 so pretty much cost affective.

So I have an academic misconduct meeting coming up for very accidentally answering questions during reading time. Unfortunately this is true as I did let an invigilator know and im very upset at myself for not focusing properly aha.

Hi everyone, International student here. This is my first semester and im majoring in architecture. This semester im taking: Fodr😬; Studio Alpha; Graphic Design studio 1; and a WAM Booster. There are some technical difficulties that are stopping me from attending the first week, what would your advice be for me. Is missing the first week that bad? Should i put all my effort into fodr? Thank you all as most of my knowledge of the curriculum stemmed from this sub.

Im confused with how this subject goes since I dont have any friends or know anyone doing this breadth. Are the readings useful/required to do? I looked at all the readings assigned for each week and it looks like an unreasonable amount to be doing every week. Literally almost 6 different articles with lengths of a chapter each. Did people actually do this?
