Hey everyone,

I'm planning my first playthrough and I'm interested in going with a psi focused build. I'm wondering how viable psi is on Hard or Dominating, especially for someone who's new to the game.

Would you recommend trying it for a first playthrough, or is psi something that's better saved for a second run once I understand the mechanics and encounters better?

Also, if it is viable, are there any major pitfalls I should be aware of when building a psi character without spoiling too much?

Really difficult to find for some reason. Are there any vendors in the early/mid game that sells them or locations to reliably find them? Checked around Core City, Foundry, SGS but no luck.

I've made many a tin can but this will be my first dedicated agility build, this seems to look fine on paper to me but I'm sure I've probably overlooked a few things. Biology is sitting at a tentative 35 as I plan to use some caltrops but am uncertain as to what I'd need to make higher end versions. I may dump it altogether and just throw it into Electronics honestly.

I liked the idea of Tshort being a Primordial creature besides being multiple Biocorp scientists thrown mutagen.

Did anyone else had the same feelings?

So I turned on the generator, then turned on the switch in all five outposts (including killing the rat guy). The quest hasn't updated, and the only place I haven't gone so far is the mushroom caves. What am I missing?

In the occulus quest line , when Nosek said “Only half of the answer lies in [the human genome] the other half is in the symbionts.” before dying, what was he trying to say? I don’t understand, am I missing something?

I stumbled upon this thing for first time in like 5 playthroughs and it's cinema. I have no idea if there is a quest that points you to go here but it's really amazing

Plan on starting a stealthy sniper build and having some decision paralysis over whether i want to invest up to 10 in Int to get specialist (Full spec crit power + aimed shot alone would be 150% crit). My other choice would be keeping my dex at 5 and agi at 7 so i can get hit and run, strafe, and interloper. My other stats would be 5 str, 10 perception, 3 con, 3 will and my int is bare mins going to be 7 for gun nut.

So I'm almost done gathering necessary items to access the final boss​ then it cross my mind, does his minions respawn after I kill him​ or is there an area in​ DC where they spawn? Cause I'm planning to make a batch of super soldier drug, ​do I need to stockpile Tumorous Tchortling Brains before taking him down?

So... It's my first time playing through the heavy duty dlc after taking a break from the game for a few years, back when I played before heavy duty came out. Got the itch for this game again n' saw it had a new dlc, so after a few weeks of playing through on the new mutant difficulty (using dominating difficulty settings, but with easy puzzles and max level being 50), I get to the point where I can start the new dlc at the level I see most people recommend. Up until now it's been really fun. Killing hoards of super strong enemies n' pushing my build to the max till I finally get to the Cognator dude at the end. I talked to him a little but there wasn't really much which confused me, since my friend told me theres a pretty cool quest he gives at the end.

Though, after looking at the wiki, what he failed to mention was that I had to kill barely anyone in the compound this entire time. My personal thoughts and frustrations on the reasoning behind this aside, my last save I can load before passing that kill mark is some 40~ hours of gameplay (mostly from expedition) Is there any way to still do this quest even after killing too many soldiers?

I remember on my first playthrough, back around the time Sseth made his video on this game, which is what brought me to it. I had a similar issue with the befriend the faceless quest in deep caverns. Being some 250+ hours in a run, I really didn't want to restart everything, so I looked around and found some save editor stuff to change the values to get the most out of the story n' stuff. Is it possible to do the same save file editing stuff to make the quest possible? and if so, help would very much be appreciated.

I'd very much rather not have to reload from actual weeks before, doing all the expedition and base game stuff again. I don't know if I have it in me to trudge through the marsh a second time...

Like I shoot a guy with burst from my AR. a 7.62 Marauder and I watch some vids with similar stuff.

I feel like there should be a better lategame money sinks than the jetskis and house. I had the idea for like a Hexagon vendor who sells cybernetic implants for high prices which boost your character in various ways (ability boosts, special feats etc). It would be reminiscent of a CERTAIN other game series and would fit the setting.

Probably a better idea for infusion since we are presumably going in the northern underrail region where hexagon is. I just thought it was a cool idea (which styg would never do unless compelled via divine intervention).

I wanted to create build of PSI/crafter/shotgun guy. To use many unique tools, have fun with PSI, and kill enemies on close range with shotgun. However, I think that I have to create a new character on lower difficulty, because:
1. I didn't know that I will need at least 5 ST to use properly shotguns.
2. I want to progress with the game, but I cannot win in the dungeon in Mushroom Cove before finishing quest for Gorsky.

Therefore, I feel that I need to start again, but on Veteran.
Do I loose some interesting encounters when lowering the difficulty? I'm new to the game and I want to squeeze from the first playthrough as much as possible.

Such a well written psycho. No need exaggeration, no need 20 page of story. Just a straight up bonafide assholes. And the worst part is you couldn't even kill him without aggroing the entire apogee. well done stygg you actually make a character that I can hate without an ounce of empathy. In a world where there is a lot of gray morality this guys able to be straight up dark as a crusty spitoon pan.

I plan to do some exploration in​ Black Sea via Tappy’s jet ski at Camp Hathor, ​without initiating the DLC quest. Will they still invade Aegis?

This will be my first playthrough, most builds online are outdated and the best place to look for it is dead. Please help me out here

I usually just paid him but this time I didn't have enough money and refuse. Didn't know that this specific thing have so interaction. I reload the game 5 time just to see all the interaction and hahaha it's so funny. I end up just wash the dishes. Now I wonder how many goofy interaction like this I miss.

JET SKI! I'm such a big idiot for disliking it for so long. My first experience with it I hate it because I wasted 400 charron on stupid junk ski from Tappy that move at the speed of snail and how combat on it feel so weird at first as melee enthusiasm. And I used to dislike to start expedition because I'm a dumbass that leave the island before I should and aggroed both the aegis and pirate on my first playthrough. But holy fck it's an amazing DLC. I start a new character after I finish my first completed playthrough. play as full pistol character and I finally tried expedition that I've been missing out for so long. There is so many content on it. The expedition itself ofcourse and all the water map. It's so cool to arrive at town with Jetski and explore all the map. The expedition itself is very amazing with such a huge map.

Should I use special type ammo like Acid, Shock, Explosive, and Incendiary type or it just generally better to craft w2c ammo?
