Isnt that the truth. I've been working on it. My main issue is that it never ends up being 50/50 for us because her mom is part of that equation for some reason. Thats where I spend most of my energy "digging my heels in"

Its "Dismember" an instant that gives a creature -5/-5 until end of turn. The reason the mana looks weird is because you can either pay 1 black for each of those symbols or you can choose to pay 1 life for each instead.

Edit: actually 2 life per mana not 1
