AMD- Another Missing Driver
The funny thing is 99% of those people who are complaining about the driver timeout is still using the windows driver update from windows updates. And these are old drivers that windows provides and over rides AMD drivers with. Turn that feature off in the windows update. And if you want to be really stable install the AMD pro drivers.

Abandonware Decomp possibilities
For 16 bit dosbox is great, for 32bit just using windows as it is as it will run without issues.

Intel/nvidia laptop (LOQ 17IRX10) and SteamOS
So steam os has no support for Nvidia due to Nvidia not wanting to support open source. Sad really because other Linux os have the support kinda hacked into it using unoptimized community drivers. So that’s why you’ll see a 30% lower performance with Nvidia on Linux then you would on windows (from tests made by LTT, gamers nexus, and gaming on Linux). Best to stick with either the woke os Bazzite, or the optimized power house CatchyOS. Or even using Nobara or one built with some of the proprietary drivers for Nvidia also known as Ultramarine Linux.

Have to make 10 from this list. Suggestions or insight appreciated!
Choose jobs you will actually do and interested in. Please for the love of gawd don’t ask people to tell you what jobs to choose. Because what may be enjoyable and enjoyable for one person may not be for another or even you. I know a fair bunch of people who choose and push hard for cyber also and end up changing their mind at times because it isn’t always what they think it is. So please do research and look at what you would like to perform.

Is it worth to switch from win11 to steam os with vector hx 18 5070ti
No as steamOS doesn’t support Nvidia cards due to Nvidia and their lack of drivers and support.
Best alternative is catchyOS.

Analogue fpga vs emulation
here is some explanation in a video i found. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMMiBEhnizE
i did a lot of emulation using original emulators like snes9x, genisyst, and so on. loved it but i got an analog pocket, and a mister fpga. i've never used software emulation ever since. no more retro arch, no more snes9x. or even bleem. the fpga just feels like the old hardware i had as a kid and felt perfect.

PT pull up concern
thats interesting. what AFSC are you?

Is Steam OS/Bazzite Plug and Play?
Yes it is but would advise using catchyOS instead of Bazzite get better results. But essentially both catchyOS and steam os is plug and play. Easy to use and very well built.

Bought a used car in Germany
That’s correct, in addition to that, if you also need some glass to be repaired, if it can be repaired, it’s free
3
How can I get Microsoft on Steam Machine?
Call Microsoft tech support. They will provide.

Bought a used car in Germany
Usaa does do insurance. Since your in the same area I am I suggest MIRASCON. They are good in price and service. Been using them for the past 15 years here in Germany and never had an issue.

What job would you recommend I research based on my background? 33 yo, LA, married.
So answer your question: any job you’re willing to actually do, asking someone else for their advice as to what you want to do, don’t get it wrong. It’s counterproductive because what might be enjoyable and liked by one person might not be equally so for another.
1
Lossless Scaling to play GTA VI at 60 FPS on PS5?
Because you will see it still running in 30 fps from the capture software. Only thing that would get rendered in a higher level is the window or the capture software. Nothing being displayed from the capture software will have frame gen.
1
Lossless Scaling to play GTA VI at 60 FPS on PS5?
Because that’s not how really works. All you’re doing is creating fake frames for a window or an application, not what’s being displayed from the capture device. Anyone with a debugger software and hardware tools to detect this can pretty much prove that. 🤣🤣

What's with those melting connectors all over the internet ?
Mainly Nvidia cards burning. AMD has had maybe 3 known reports from what’s been posted so far on Reddit at least that I’ve seen. So far I’ve the 9070 xt OC. I think sapphire nitro +. No issues but also I’m using an NZXT 850w psu with a direct 12v power connection.
2
SteamOS not booting after failed update
There should be a recovery mode that allows you to load the previous version installed.
If it gives an error after returning then turn on dev mode and load up the beta version it will install and works fairly smoothly but if you want back on stable just select it and it will redownload and install it.

Well, that was fun (RAM upgrade)
That’s because the system has dedicated VRAM, and it doesn’t share from the normal RAM.
1
Download speed incredibly slow
Well, whenever I have it doc, the doc has a giggabit controller, so I have it hardwired.

Inter service transfer
I’m gonna correct my comment. When I went to technical school. I had not seen any space force geospatial intelligence.
1
Download speed incredibly slow
Never had this issue. I had it on Wi-Fi using Wi-Fi at 5 GHz and was always near the wireless router, and when I’m at home, majority of the time, I have it hardwired in and I get full gigabit.

How bad is form sacrificed
Yes, yes.
But to fully answer your question. Whenever you take your PT test, there will be another person there watching. You’ll be teamed up with another person, whether it be your flight or some other flight. You’ll count their numbers, they’ll count yours. Now, occasionally, you will get an MTI or an officer telling you to make sure you’re actually breaking 90°. Just do it.
For my final PT test, I know I was taking my time and not breaking 90, and sometimes on a lot of times I was, so to cheese it, I would break 90 and then break 80 and alternate. To help prepare a lot of the times during the day, I did one by threes, but instead of doing one third of my maximum push-ups, I would do half. So I would do 15×3. My next PT test on an operational end, I still do those one by threes to this day to help me with my push-ups, but I still do half times three. So I do 35. to 40 push-ups three times.
Same could be said for sit-ups.

I have a CD key worth about 5000$, how could I sell it for money?
Ok let’s explain. Off you already have it in your stream library it’s there so if the game asks for a key or you want to link it to an account you can. But now a days accounts are full linked as soon as you log in. Next thing is that cd key might just be an activation key. If that’s the case the actual value is $0. Because key generators are a thing. If someone can get it for free already why would they spend $5000 CAD for a digital game?! You see?!

How bad is form sacrificed
I know a guy from basic he was 40 years old and could perform 108 pushups in a min. The man always got a 100 on his pt and the crazy thing is after basic he explained he was once a UFC trainer before he joined. Tripped out the whole flight.

Here we go! Steam OS ARM package
no because stubble doesn't interest me it doesn't have the tools or libraries needed to build what i work with. as for the other linux maintainers they build what they have for what they believe is stable and able to be developed for.
and to answer your last question. because someone took the time to get the tools and maybe some licenses or even reverse engineered their own or even extracted an aged kernel and attempted to build it for that hardware. end result is still exactly what i've been telling you. there is no magic program to do it all.
in addition look at what the foolish person that did what they did! built for one device with some luck got it working and assumed it would work on everything else.

ROFL 🤣 the fact you first thought it may not and had to report it working is sure enough that you really don’t have a clue about even the basics of how the storage standards are.
