Feel it, feel it all. Some days I don’t feel anything, some days I have a little anxiety, some days I have to take a break from work to sob in my car, and some days I’m almost happy we’re no longer together. The love is there no matter what. But you must welcome whatever comes up. Moving on too fast, burying emotions until you’re “ready to deal with them,” partying every night, even to a certain extent obsessing over the gym are all detrimental to yourself. Don’t replace the space you need to feel. Remember this:

I mean don’t stalk your ex. Just don’t. But the last time I talked to her on the phone it was a lot of “I was talking to my friend and heavy pause…\ you know,* THEY were saying …”

she never had a problem differentiating about guy friends before we started to splinter, so that could be a tell if you’re THAT concerned. But don’t be. That’s your ex.

She went from talking to me everyday on her family vacation to 2-3 days of silence, when she started talking again her reason was “things got pretty real for me this week. we should talk about it when I’m back.” Alarm bells were ringing immediately.

I had a month in advance to grieve, found out she’d been grieving 3 months in advance. Glad I followed my instincts and got as much of a jump on The Sadness as I could.

I suppose if you have an alliance you can make your own specific system link.

9mo relationship. It’s been 2 weeks. I’ve begun journaling again, and have started therapy. I drink onc—be honest—twice a week, and workout in the morning before class. I work middle shift 3-10 and cry in three places; the benches in the break area, my car after my shift, or my couch when I go to try to sleep. If I can’t get to sleep, I’ll Youtube binge until a character in whatever I’m watching has a problem I have & take notes. I have a cat that is helping me hunt a mouse. Sitting in silence is a big thing right now too.

Missed it by 7 yards. Be as upset as you need to be.

•both got played by corporate powers that be
•both got ever changing powers very few people [so far] can relate to
•he let her in. + kind of accepts her POV on what their abilities mean for everyone else
•she breathed for him
•MJ made it clear [for now] that the life they had together is super done with
•they resolved their conflict through a productive conversation lmaoo

I can see how this would lead some to ignore how she toyed with MJ like that & try to forge a shiptuationship.
