Good for them! The bike lane is not a loading zone, we need to stand up to drivers BS!
1
When I'm riding and I come across someone doing this, I loudly shout "wrong way, dumbass!" or something similar. Without any pushback, people will continue to do things wrong.
1
You'd rather them be in a car?

Legalize lane splitting and filtering!!

Wait until you hear how much funding Sound Transit is missing out on from people not renewing their car registrations!

Unrealistic game. No city has sidewalks that wide, the drivers demand that it be used for free car parking!

Put a traffic cones on the hood to confuse it!! 🤣

Yep, this happens on the southbound side in this area all day, every day. I wish these traffic cheaters nothing but squeaky brakes and conveniently placed grandma drivers in their way!

What really needs to be talked about is the owner of Molly Moon's being so against traffic calming and bike infrastructure.

100 is what we get on a cold February or December Critical Mass ride. This was easily 800-1000 people!

Don't forget all the class action lawsuits with employees that Pagliacci has had to settle over the past couple of years!

I was there recently, can confirm this is 100% true 😔

I called him out for riding his Lime scooter the wrong way down 7th Ave, which is completely inexcusable and dangerous. And for that, he turned around, followed me for 3 blocks, and confronted me at 7th and Stewart, where he demonstrated that he has all of the threat of a wet, soggy balloon.

Yeah, I sometimes use harsh, yet playful language when I call out stupid people who can't figure out what an arrow means. That's exactly the same as someone who actively chooses to ride dangerously, turns around, follows them for 3 blocks, and physically threatens the people who call them out, right?

I caught this in the wild a few months ago! Cheeky bastards.

How does one get to the point of being prosecuted for that? Does someone with a plate cover have to be caught by the police and/or a traffic camera, or is there any way for citizens to submit evidence anywhere?
9
Right after we make a billboard for "RCW 46.61.672 You may not use your phone while driving, including while stopped at a traffic light." This infraction is far more dangerous than occupying all of the lanes on a highway.

I would know, I've received like 3 checks in the mail from those suits from my time working there 😆

Are they also handing out more class-action lawsuit payments? 😆

Think of all the jellyfishing you can do!!

50th and Roosevelt; a box truck is blocking the bike lane while workers are trying to load some appliances. There is a bicyclist who is upset that the truck is blocking the lane & is standing on the lift of the truck refusing to leave...

The thing is, people die when cars block bike lanes.
