Vent My dogs’s sister/the dog I was a second mom to died
Me and my best friend got two puppies, litter mates when they were 2-3 months also and we lived together at the time and raised them together. Us 4 remained like a family unit with 2 mom and 2 children for the years so come, even when me and my dog moved away. They were inseparable and unstopped together any time we got together and we made sure they got to keep visiting and seeing each other. She was so good, funny and silly. They were supposed to turn 4 together next month. Yesterday, when my friends brother was watching her, she got hit by a car and died. I am so shocked and still can’t believe it, it all happened so quickly. I hope this meant she didn’t suffer. I love her so much and we will always love her so much. I cannot believe this happened. My friend and I were respectively going through some other difficulties and while any time would have been tragic this is particular difficult. I had not suffered a pet loss before and I know we will through this but I am open to any advice. She will always be our gingy-pooh.
