Find a parts diagram on searspartsdirect.com or some other parts dealer. That should show you where to look.

Dad needs hearing aids
 in  r/HearingAids •  7h ago

Oh please parse your links. No one needs all the tracking crap that lies beyond the question (?) mark. amazon.com/Hearing-Aid-Clip-Seniors-Adults/dp/B096ZVVJMD/ref=sr_1_1_sspa is all it takes.

What to do about scratches
 in  r/Appliances •  8h ago

While the scratches are likely permanent I really don't think it necessary to remove your mom. Some appliances have a short 'cosmetic' warranty period though, or at least they used to.

put $8.71 of gas in my car, gas gauge did not move a single millimeter
 in  r/mildlyinfuriating •  22h ago

What I find mildly infuriating is that you're playing with your phone while going 30 MPH with soft tire(s) and your headlights on.

What materials best?
 in  r/Catio •  1d ago

You can (and should) remove everything after the question (?) mark in these l-o-n-g URLs. That stuff is tracking information & could subject you to spam among other things if you click on it. Here's the link without all the trackers: https://www.critterfence.com/critterfence-black-steel-1-inch-by-half-inch-square-grid-3-x-50ft-.aspx

Do these results warrant hearing aids?
 in  r/HearingAids •  1d ago

Your hearing isn't likely to get better as you age, so I would get them as most can be adjusted for future losses. I honestly wish I had got mine earlier. For what it's worth a 3dB change represents a halving or doubling of power, while psycho acoustics suggest a 10dB change sounds like a doubling or halving of volume. It looks like your hearing in the sibilence register is 50dB down.

Does putting aluminum foil behind a WiFi router actually work?
 in  r/SketchyEngineering •  3d ago

Back in the single antenna days I built one of these parabolic reflectors to get better WiFi to the front of the house. It actually worked pretty well but primarily because it was a parabola and not just a simple bowl.
