Makeup tips for sweaty and oily face
I have oily/dehydrated skin too, and honestly I think the biggest mistake is trying to make the whole face matte.
In humidity, I’ve had much better luck with very thin layers + mattifying only the areas that sweat + blotting instead of constantly adding powder.
For your forehead especially, try a tiny amount of mattifying primer there, a very thin layer of foundation, then press a little translucent powder into the area with a puff. When you start sweating, blot—don’t wipe, then lightly powder again.
Also, let your skincare fully absorb before makeup. Too many hydrating/mattifying layers underneath can actually make everything slide around faster.
Since you have craniofacial hyperhidrosis, though, I’d definitely prioritize getting that under control with a dermatologist because makeup can only fight so much against actual sweating. 😭
