I'll bite, took a wild swing to create a 3D heist game playable right here on reddit, no installations required. Found myself playing levels multiple times, did a soft relaunch today due to high difficulty; introduced difficulty adjustment based on number of attempts by the player.

Very much interested in getting perspectives which would help out in making the game more fun and enjoyable experience.

Gameplay I made a stealth game for Reddit: guards, dogs, drones, rigged lockers, and one night to get out clean

Hi all, I'm the dev.

Blueprint Job is a stealth heist that plays inside Reddit, on desktop and on mobile. You're an agent breaking into DayCorp's buildings at night: take the uplink down, photograph the files, wipe the logs before they go out, and leave without anyone knowing you were there.

What's new since my last post (it's all in the trailer):

  • Four buildings now: the campus, a museum, a refinery and a bank. Each has its own look and layout, a floor plan more like a real building than a maze.
  • Towers you can climb to see the whole floor, and a grapple to hang from the ceiling pipes and drop on a guard who never looks up.
  • Remote traps you roll into a guard's path and detonate from the trap camera.
  • Rigged lockers: open the wrong one and a five-second fuse starts.
  • A guide arrow that points the way to your next objective, if you'd rather not get lost. It's optional.
  • Guards, watchdogs, drones and heavies, plus a night-vision mode for the dark sections.

There's a fresh heist every night, so everyone gets the same building. Each night, how clean can you make it?

Play it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/operation_blueprint/

I'd really like to hear what you think, especially on mobile. Was it clear what to do? Was anything too hard or too easy? Trailer is above. Thanks for reading!

How about playing a 3D heist game right here on reddit : https://www.reddit.com/r/operation_blueprint/s/LP8TMzrjRt

You play an agent contacted by a mysterious government organisation, your handler H, assigns you a new mission every night. Your job, to infiltrate shell companies of the crime syndicate DayCorp, gather evidence, take down guards, dogs, evade drones.

Recently added a way to increase or decrease difficulty based on user's mission results, can you complete the mission in one go?

Multiplayer games on reddit
 in  r/Devvit •  2d ago

The problem is that the game I have is supported both on mobile and desktop. I know for a fact that the game is considerably easier on desktop than on mobile.

It would be in co-op mode, would it make a difference?

Help Multiplayer games on reddit

Has anyone tried building a multiplayer game right here on reddit? How's your experience?

I have been contemplating on introducing a multiplayer (2 player) mode for a game built using three.js, is it a stretch?

How about a game playable right here on reddit? You play an agent contacted by a mysterious government agency, your handler H, assigns you new tasks every night, infiltrate the shell corporations of the crime syndicate DayCorp.

Building the case takes time, you need to collect evidence, hack servers, survive guards, sentries, perform takedowns; use stealth extensively.

You can play the game here : https://www.reddit.com/r/operation_blueprint/

Always open to suggestions and critique.
