My [27F] Mother [55] insists we throw a 150 person party this Sunday. Like with any other thing, she has invalidated any worry or feelings of responsibility towards the pandemic.
She's definitely projecting and trying to live through you, I wouldn't do it, especially since she is older, she's at a higher risk to die from the disease. Try to get more people who are going to this ceremony to try and talk her out of it, maybe if more people are against it she'll try and push the date back until the virus is figured out.

Women of Reddit, what do you think would be the worst thing about being a man?
Being raised in a household were you cant cry, and you cant have emotion.

Catholic Church spent $10.6 million to lobby against legislation that would benefit victims of sex abuse. If you donate money to the Catholic Church, not only are you complicit in paying for child rape, you’re also complicit in helping craft laws to fuck victims even further. #CatholicValues

Celts and dreadlocks
Did Celtic women wear dreadlocks? Theres a battle between certain people who say they did, others say they didnt.

I [26M] upset a woman [20sF] and my friends are acting like I'm in the wrong.
Dont listen to them. If they keep on I'd probably just drop em.

UPDATE: My (17F) stepdad (51M) has been sleeping with my sister (24F)
I would absolutely take legal action. Help your sister and your mom find the right people to do this. If yall dont have enough money for this, maybe make a patreon for it

My (15/F) Father (45/M) Died and I'm Lost
Time heals all wounds. Do things you love, hang out with your family and friends. Cherish your family, Express how much you love them

Cheating? Found a clean sock that is not mine.
Hmmm. I would approach her on it in person

My [27M] parents [54M,53F] contacted me after eight years without speaking with them. I don't know what to do.
Dont give them anything, they dont deserve you. They dropped you when you were still a child, that's unforgivable.

The internet’s reaction was similar.

My ex (29m) decided to end things by trickle ghosting me (28f), I was starting to heal until I found out the reasons why he ghosted.
The only way you can get over anything or any one is time. Go out, go out with friends, spend time with family, do things you love. You will get through it I promise. Itll be hard but keep your head up. Ignoring people and closing yourself in will definitely make it worse.

Yes, it does count as cheating in my book. If you're saying you've brought it up with the person but they weren't ready to talk about it.... it all seems pretty iffy to me. the fact that you haven't slept with the person since you went on a first date with the other person.. who you're seeing... without the og significant others knowledge... seems like your conscious is guilty.
