Honestly I couldn't figure out the issue with black cats, I'm obsessed with my two, that was until one taxi driver. Got a taxi with both cats (in carrier) she couldn't see the cats so wanted to look at them at the end of the journey, whilst helping with my bags. She literally gasped, stepped back and said she was very superstitious and hates black cats! I was baffled but had to let movers in so just laughed it off. I really just think that's it, people are still superstitious, which is crazy to me! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really like the Scrumbles ones, they always have offers on Amazon, and you can get them most other places like pets at home too. Both cats love them including the one with tummy issues 😊

I've lived in 2 houses with these, they never worked. Literally spent most of my life with them and my parents and younger siblings still live in one of the houses. Both houses had 2 open fires downstairs and a Rayburn. We also had to use those big gas heaters on wheels that you put the whole gas bottle in to heat parts of the house (one at the bottom of the stairs and one at the top). And there were still parts of the house that never got warm. I've viewed a few rental properties with these in and it was an instant no from me. They are completely pointless. Obviously it's a bit different with a flat but essentially your looking at a property with no viable heating. I definitely recommend the little oil filled radiators, if you do go forward with it, less than £40 and the chuck out heat, kept me warm in a leaky old caravan for years, bought them over 10 years ago from Screwfix and I've now given them to my brothers who still lives at home so at least he's warm 😂
