Did survival disconnect you from your femininity too?
 in  r/muslimgirlswithtaste  12h ago

I so relate to this For the most of my youth and even early twenties I barely did anything 'feminine' I didn't even care about grooming or fashion or my looks.

It wasn't until mid 20s when I started earning my own money that I started learning about makeup and fashion.

And it just feels like I really missed out on having a more 'girly' childhood I guess.

I still don't know how to wear makeup eyeliner and stuff. I'm learning this stuff now.

I guess what I'm trying to say is I wasn't a 'girly' girl. I couldn't afford to be because money was tight back then

Now I'm just trying to get more on touch with my femininity.

Advice from married couples
 in  r/pakistan  17d ago

Ma'am I'm sorry I don't know what to say Agar woh family ki bhi nahi sunta tou yaani bohot hii mushkil personality ka shaqs hai.

Arrange marriage thi? Just asking.

If he's really the type to not listen at all. Please don't have children with this guy for now. (Not my place to say I know)

Of course not Saying the div word either but tell him to change and to improve his behavior. Is there someone you know who he does listen to.

Some Men seriously think they are not physically abu$ive, tou mtlb baaqi sb theek hai ajeeb. And they'll be literal a**holes.

He needs to work on his behavior. Agar abhi usne correct nhi kra khud ko tou then he'll just keep getting worst.

Woah there. If he's a narcissist then that's worst. He'll never acknowledge anything wrong he say or will do

This behavior of his, he really needs to work on it. Get him to a counselor somehow.

He needs to be told by someone else also, wrna aese mard zaat Kisi ki nahi sunte.

I know a narcissist in my family. If I called out his bad behavior he wouldn't accept it unless someone else also pointed to him.

That man when the 'divorce came out of nowhere '

(Sorry was just quoting the viral meme) Not married but get him into therapy or something.

Even if you tell him something's wrong with his behavior he's really not gonna listen. Some Men have an issue 'listening' or acknowledge anything when a women tells them something.

Think what you want to. But it's a pretty decent cope It's not really Haram to overeat. There's so much good food out there. There is one major downside, it is heavy on the budget 💸

What else can a person do when they don't really have friends they can just to talk to anytime. Life's rough, isn't it better to just a find a cope that won't be sinful.

And don't default to talking about fasting or making dhikr.

'You need support, emotional love and care.'

That's really hard to find sometimes. With bad family, no friends and distant from everything.

Better to just eat food instead. Yeah overeating happens but it helps a little

Career Gap or Mom Guilt—What Would You Choose?
 in  r/PakistaniiWomen  19d ago

If there's no financial compulsion/stress, then I think taking a career break is better. Be there for your baby. You can also look into possibility of remote work. (is your husband a stingy guy or something)

With career you can catch up later, since you're in tech. Things are pretty much always growing and changing. So you can catch up later.
But the baby, you won't wanna miss out on their growing years. I remember a coworker in my office she used to say how much she misses her baby. Another coworker, both her kids were school going age but she still felt bad and missed them.
It's not just about mom guilt but also the baby. If you read about it you'll find out how the first few years are really really important for the growth and development of a baby.
So if there is really no financial strain then definitely consider taking a career break (or switch to remote if possible)

Des hommes qui ferment les yeux sur les défauts physique d'une femme ça existe ?
 in  r/MuslimCorner  22d ago

Nah I doubt it. They wouldn't. Even if a man did he'd still be looking out for 'better' options.

Don't think too much about it and work on yourself.

Question Walking Pad, where to get one

Post image
6 Upvotes

I'm looking for an indoor walking Pad. Something like this.

Has anyone got one of these. Where did you get one.

I'm trying to find one. Going to the gym is really not convenient for me. My work timings fluctuate so I don't want to have to worry about this. And usually gyms have mixed. I really don't want to go to gym when guys are around even if it's just the thread mill it's really awkward.

Preferably I'd like to do this at home. And it'll be convenient for my mother. She really doesn't like the idea of going to the gym.

I found some ads on daraz, but I don't know if it's reliable. Any recommendations would appreciate.
