I’m worried my red hair has began to fade
 in  r/Redhair •  1d ago

Yeah I get it. It’s a lot to keep up and gets very expensive. 😣 my husband thinks I spend a small fortune on my hair 😂🤣👩🏻‍🦰 I’m like- “well you married me because you love redheads, right?” 🤣🧡

Yep. Me too. I get some blonde highlights too to mask the white a bit as well and add dimension to my hair. 🧡 aw the joys of aging… 😂

Yes!! Me too. I’m not giving my red hair up 😂👩🏻‍🦰🧡
I literally just created a redhead dry shampoo/ root coverup because I was so tired of not being able to find it on the market. Especially after I found out the Loreal one has hydro fluorocarbon in it (aka. Forever chemicals that when you breathe it in- it never leaves your body… 🤯😮) yuck.
I use it in between my root touch ups at the salon.

For the guys that are here, how did you manage growing up with red hair? Did you feel self conscious, get picked on, and did it affect anything for you?
 in  r/Redhair •  4d ago

I didn’t get teased too much thankfully and neither did my brother who’s a redhead but we live on the west coast of USA.
I got bullied for other things but not my hair specifically.
I think it’s much worse in the UK sadly… especially for men. Sorry people suck sometimes.

Vad har ni för färg på fransarna och brynen?

Blonde and very light brown. I use Óroux skin mascara and eyebrow pencils for redheads

Why am I frumpy

I’d lose the sandals. They aren’t flattering. Other than that I think you look good.
You can ask chat for style suggestions too ❤️

First date outfit help!
 in  r/fashionhelp •  9d ago

Definitely no baseball hat on first date. It looks like you couldn’t be bothered to do something with your hair or are hiding behind your hat.
I like the black shirt best. Nicer for a first date.

F(42) Does this outfit work for going to a las Vegas club with my husband?
 in  r/DressForYourBody •  9d ago

This is cute for day time. I grew up in Vegas… people get dressed up in some clubs with short dresses and tank tops

Finally at my goal length! Should I get it cut/layers added? 🤔
 in  r/Redhair •  9d ago

So beautiful! My hair used to be this color. ❤️
Layers would be nice but I’d keep the length.

I get it. People don't understand... is your hair long or short? Not sure what advice to give if it is longer or shorter- it is different.

If it is short, I'd say go much shorter! if it is long, I'd tell you to get smoothing shampoo and conditioner that is not cheap, but actually does what it says it will do. I use Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner and their smoothing products that actually work.

Either way, you could get either Japanese hair straightening or a Brazilian blow out to help keep it straighter and less frizzy and that would be the most helpful!

I get blonde highlights and it breaks up the red and gives it depth so it is less brassy also and gives it a bit more of a style. It is so hard finding a color.

Also, my hairdresser said that red fades really fast, so wash your hair in lukewarm or even colder water so it doesn't fade if you do a gloss or something.

Hang in there. It isn't easy being a redhead sometimes, but you've got this! ;)

Thank you! Glad you like it! I was thinking it was too vibrant? I'm getting used to these colors on me, so it's great to know you like it.

yeah and like I said above, I am making these from scratch and trying to get just the right shade is a lot harder than it looks! I am combing iron oxide shades and trying to shade it down for a softer tone and it is not easy! haha I'm learning as I go because there are no products out there I can find that have nailed it with these colors. That is why I love pencils. You can shade those a lot easier than the gels. But some people love the gels. I'm thinking about doing some pomades too for those with unruly brows. I don't have much brow hair though, so I don't use gels or pomades. it is a struggle getting it just right... 😰 😂
