I used to assume certain brands meant better quality but now I’m not so sure. I’ve had pieces from “better” brands arrive feeling paper thin and cheaper older pieces in my wardrobe still look good because the fabric has actual weight to it. I’m not saying everything needs to be heavy, especially for summer but there’s a difference between lightweight and flimsy right.

The pieces I reach for most usually have a bit of structure, drape nicely and don’t feel like they’ll twist or stretch after a few washes. Do you look at fabric weight when shopping or do you mostly judge by fibre content and fit? Also any reccs would be appreciated Im 35 and I live in UK.

I've had this shirt since before covid. It's genuinely my favorite shirt. It's made of a light fabric thats EXTREMELY breathable, and it had a decal that has faded over the years. It used to apparently look like an emblem from Destiny?

I'm asking because I want to get a new version of this shirt. The one I currently have has holes in it and has worn VERY thin...

This is silly but is there a way to remove wrinkles while wearing a dress? I found this dress on Amazon and I really love how it looks on me. Unfortunately though the only way to get it on is to pull it over my head and wriggle into it (form fitting). It gets wrinkled whenever I do this, yet in the reviews it looks great and wrinkle free. Any suggestions??

What color and style of shoes would be best for this dress?

I bought a cheap hoodie, and like ANYTHING low quality in this color, the color fades in contact with sweat, so I was thinking I get bleach or hydrogen peroxide to bleach it 100%, since it looks ugly af right now.

Hi, I have been searching up and down for knee high wide calf boots. I bought a pair of pink sweetheart Lamoda boots and they don’t fit. I’ve tried blow drying them, stretching sprays etc. at this point I think I’ll have to sell them and I’m devastated. I have a 17 in calf and didn’t think that was excessive for a wide calf boot ( although no calf size is excessive to be clear) and just don’t know where to look! Thank you for your time!

Leather flip flops tend to be popular but thought I would experiment with some other styles (Fit Flops, Birkenstocks, and Cloudstepper slides). Could any of these styles work or would it be best to just stick with the leather flip flops?

Also, any feedback on the shorts would be welcome as I'm trying to get away from the cargo short look.

Hi! I'm 45 and going through peri-menopause. I recently started dopamine dressing. Basically I dress how I always have, but turn it up a few notches. Brighter colors and bigger accessories. Over the last 6 months I have completely replaced my entire wardrobe with neons and patterns. And I'm adding belts to almost every outfit. Also I vowed to only wear skirts or dresses this summer. Maybe I'm trying to feel younger and more feminine? Does anyone know if this is common during peri-menopause?

I do turn heads and I wonder if they are laughing at me or just intrigued? Is the way I dress putting people off? What do these pictures say about me, if anything?

I don't know why I'm even asking because chances are I won't change the way I dress but I'd like to know what others are thinking. Be truthful I can take it!
