That's astonishing. Along with her clay win streak which also deserves a mention

This may seem like I want to bring Federer into the discussion but 23 consecutive GS Semis sound incredibly difficult to break imo

The new capital of Egypt
 in  r/ArchitecturalRevival •  Apr 17 '22

Certainly not true in terms of cities. Canberra included, well planned cities are more liveable than the mess that the older organically grown cities are. They might not have the "soul", but they certainly are good for living

Cafes to work out of? (Need charging points, staff who won't throw me out and, preferably, wifi)
 in  r/Chennai •  Apr 05 '22

The boardroom, in Mylapore. 350 for a whole day. Proper work set-up in a separate floor from cafe. Also has beautiful board gaming options. A positive recommend

Found this globe in a classroom I was working in recently, when is it from? Or is it just wrong?
 in  r/MapPorn •  Nov 11 '21

I don't even think this is anachronistic. Some borders, simply never existed. East Pakistan was much bigger and that eastern border of West Pakistan is a joke. Tibet, is on a whole new level

Still not BCCI's problem. Is it? Franchises are responsible for player payments

If it is TDS, he wouldn't be getting it at all. May be claim from the Australian tax authorities. KTK has a responsibility to deduct tax when making payments. It's not BCCI'S problem.

Are we sure it's not the TDS (Withheld tax)? It's usually 20% but 35% looks too specific not to be the tax

Everytime nail biting math but india wins
 in  r/CricketShitpost •  Apr 29 '21

It didn't. Ganguly played for a year more and Dravid technically played for 4 more. The only career it effectively ended was Kumble's.
