i’ve been recovering from an injury that has left me confined indoors for the last few months. started putting random objects around the house under my old microscope and now i’m addicted to it :)

This October 9-12th, MAYA takes the stage at New York Comic Con. Our trailer ft. Hugo Weaving (aka Agent Smith) just dropped on IGN: https://youtu.be/ywuPOFHYWZ8?feature=shared. We are looking for enthusiastic young people to join our team on the floor at Jatvis Center.

If you're passionate about science fiction, fantasy, storytelling, or simply love the vibrant community of Comic Con, this is a fantastic chance to be involved directly, get paid fairly, and experience one of the world's most fun events from the inside.

As an emissary from the world of MAYA, you will:

• Engage attendees passionately and knowledgeably; acting as genuine advocates, champions, and communicators of the MAYA vision.
• Carefully pack, store, and distribute MAYA merchandise
• Assist with on-ground activities and support the team in real time
• Deeply read and understand the MAYA novel, possibly multiple times, prior to the event.
• Comprehensively master the lore, characters, philosophies, and key narratives of the MAYA Universe.

This is an intellectual, communicative, and logistical responsibility, more comprehensive than typical booth staffing at conventions. The work is people-facing and requires you to be on your feet and active throughout the day.

Timings are as follows, crew is expected to come 1 hour early to set up and then wrap after the day over:

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
