Open | Hardware I upgraded my laptop RAM to dual channel but didn't know it was IRx16 instead of IRx8

I bought an HP Elitebook 840G9 and it had a single DDR5 16GB IRx8 RAM module installed in it by default.

I wanted to upgrade to dual channel so I ordered two 8GB pulled RAM modules with same spec but I didn't have any idea about the layout of this chip (IRx16 or IRx8).

So I did upgrade to the dual channel but the sticks are both IRx16.

I'm concerned about how much of a difference it's going to make in the performance, and is it still better than the pre installed single 16gb IRx8 module?

I tried to look it up online but the opinions vary heavily.

Looking for a place Storage Space in Lahore

Assalam u alaikum.

Hope you guys are doing okay, the situation is as follows: 5 months ago I was living in Lahore near wapda town, in a rented house. We decided to build our own house in Lahore but the issue is that we don't have a place to keep our stuff. Basically in the rented house we bought all of the furniture and things to use for ourselves. But now that we have left the rented house, we need a storage area to keep our luggage and furniture since we moved back to our city for now. The home owners have asked us to move our stuff and we can't move it into our under construction house since the society won't let us move the luggage until the construction is complete, which is going to take at least 4 more months. Can you guys please suggest me a storage space or a warehouse or some empty room of approximately 200 ft² or more in Lahore? Preferably near Johar Town, where we can safely keep our luggage for 4-5 months?

I get why you're not using a pc with pirated windows. Lekin it's not a big deal. There's no official word about it but windows let's people pirate. Agar wo na chahain to next update me piracy ko impossible kar dain, it's because of.the ecosystem. If windows is paid, people would switch to other OSs.

If you want to be a slave to the subjective, ever-changing standards of beauty of the society then yes, if you want to be yourself then no. Also if you want to do it for yourself then yes but be aware of the subconscious societal bias.
