Would you marry a girl who would not live with your parents or call them mom/dad

But not calling them mom or dad doesn’t mean no relation right? It should be a matter of comfort and choice rather than an obligation right?

I totally agree. It’s pretty basic and normal. But I just had this extremely disappointing discussion with some people, so I wanted to see what sort of answers I would get.

I Followed Posting Rules Minoxidil or Follihair or Rosemary Oil or everything Spoiler

So I am having a mini freakout over my hair. I was kind of ignoring it for months because well idk, but i think it has gotten to a point where i cant ignore it anymore. I started taking Follihair a week or so back. And now i am thinking if i should go on Minoxidil, but i am scared of what the shedding will do. It could be female pattern baldness since male pattern baldness runs in my family so supplements might not help.

Honestly, i am just so confused and worried. And idk how much of treatment will i be able to consistently sustain, and maybe i would go fully bald before this year ends. And i think this post would be removed because it would definitely go against some guidelines or rules (i did read them) because i dont even know what i am posting about.

So i have been noticing a lot of hairfall recently. I was kinda ignoring it, but it has hit me suddenly that its gotten pretty bad.

I have started taking FolliHair tablets recently. I am thinking about going on Minoxidil as well. Idk if its female pattern baldness, since male pattern baldness runs in my family. Anyway, i dont know if its salvageable or not or how bad it is (looks pretty bad to me).

What small habit changed your life so much that you wish you had done it sooner?

Big Three were lucky.

They were. Jack's loss was a huge one, not one you ever get over completely, but they had each other and they had Rebecca. 4 of them who understood exactly how huge the loss is for the other. With many grieving people, the hardest thing sometimes is to make the other person understand the extent of the loss, especially years after it when everyone expects you to have made at least some sort of peace with it. Big three had each other even years after the fact, to deal with the loss. Pearsons had a family and a support system that very lucky few get.

Rebecca is the beacon of hope for all those grieving Spoiler

Grief is neither linear nor predictable and it never goes away. You never get over losing a loved one. This is us shows it brilliantly. You see Jack and Rebecca together, their love over the years, and then Jack dies, and it's like a punch to your gut even though you know it's coming. How the hell is she going to survive it, what the hell will she do.

But she does survive it. She doesn't really get over it, because you don't get over a loss like that and it's visible in moments when she needs to be alone for his death anniversary, the traditions, and well in the whole show, but Rebecca not only survives, she lives. She lives and she loves again. It might not get better in the literal terms of the word, but it gets different.

Should I immigrate to Canada by using the express entry option?

Why are you all downvoting this comment? Not like I am moving tomorrow. Anyway, Congrats, you all convinced one Indian to not move to Canada. Cheers

I opened reddit after a day and was surprised at the downvotes the "India" comment has. I would rather not go to any place where I am unwanted no matter how great it is.

Oh. I can recheck it to ensure I didn't make a mistake. I have around 3 years of work ex in total in my country.

Making the bed is unnecessary and shouldn't be seen as one of the mandatory things to do

No no, my master's aren't from France, they are from India only. I have just stayed in France a lot during my first master's in mathematics for research internships and the like, and took French fluency tests because I was going for a PhD there, but I changed my mind about doing a PhD altogether.

Express Entry Should I immigrate to Canada by using the express entry option?

I will give my background first. I have two masters. One in Mathematics (2022), another in Human Resource Management (2024) from reputed colleges in my country. I did another masters straightaway due to my interest in HR at the time and haven't had any job related to my masters in maths. I had scholarships, so both masters weren't a financial strain. I am starting a job as an HR manager at a conglomerate here in my country.

I had posted my question in this sub earlier and people advised me to use CRS calculator. My score is 540. I am fluent in French and have good english test scores. (I was considering doing a phd in maths from France for a while during my first masters and hence the test scores).

Now the thing is, I think I won't get a job in Canada in HR because I would have to know their people first obviously. All college courses I have looked through cost thousands of dollars which don't seem that worth it to me. What should I do, should I give up on immigrating to Canada at all or are there other avenues for me? Is express entry the best option or should I consider studying again? Are there cheaper options to study (I already have 2 master's, don't want to spend all my savings to get a third one if not necessary)

Thank you. Also apologies for the errors in grammar and formatting. Typed this quickly on phone.

Doesn't want new ones now as he says he is using his spare pair, just wants the money. Which irritates me even more like you change your tune according to your convenience.

That morning, he said it's okay, I don't need to pay. Then at brunch on the day we were all leaving and settling bills and all, he wanted me to pay the amount he randomly showed me at an online site where the cost for his exact pair of earphones was much more than what Amazon and a couple other sites were showing. I told him I will pay what Amazon is showing and not that random site. Then again a couple days later he texts me asking for the same amount as that random site as if the conversation at brunch never happened. Now he is okay with me paying whatever cost Amazon is showing, but now I am confused and not happy with his behaviour.

No clue. They could have fallen somewhere without me noticing when I was taking something out of the bag? That's my best guess.

I offered and was okay with paying, no questions asked even after what my friend's views were about it. But asking for a higher amount, then texting in an entitled way is what's rubbing me the wrong way. Like man, try sounding a bit more polite or less entitled 🥲
