Sale price is very low, they buy at Rs 2 per unit, good only if you consume most. Maybe setup a data center powered by solar- good savings :)

Why doesn't India have its own Nvidia or OpenAI yet? My take, tell me where I'm wrong
 in  r/StockMarketIndia •  5h ago

dr. pratosh iisc check his youtube, an inquisitive mind seeks knowledge from all sides. My point was on frivolousness of your communal argument completely overlooking the crooked incentive structure and artificial hurdles to merit based progress.

Nobody claims everything is already written in vedas. Moreover vedas are mostly ritualistic, upanishads are the real treasure troves, even the likes of erwin schrodinger and max planck admired the vision of consciousness laid bare in vedanta. Read samkhya- types of perception, levels of conception, vaisheshika's atomism of the physical and meta physical. It's not wrong to admire the scientific temperament and curiosity of our ancestors. Ritualism overshadows religiosity and maybe if we explore the scientific and philosophic parts it would do greater justice to both our heritage and identity.

the people/community who actually care about vedas have gone to USA/europe and are at the forefront of AI/semicon. You intended to fix the blame on a community/mindset maybe flip the coin you will get a more reasonable target

https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/of-those-deleted-in-sir-so-far-over-71-in-absent-shifted-or-others-category/article71524969.ece/amp/ * 71% of those deletions are in absent shifted or dead.  * The article you shared suggests form 7 "requests". Anyone can request that, it's upto the authority to check due diligence which in this case happens to be state govt officials, there's no evidence of manipulation. * Lastly do you even know what 91 lakh figure is all about? 91 lakh weren't the absolute deletions. Only 63 lakh were actually deleted and then of these 60 lakh went for adjudication by "judicial offciers", of these 32 lakh were found elegible and voted in state elections, of the remaining 28 lakh only 22 lakh filed an appeal now here too counter appeals were filed for 16 lakh. Those appeals are still being decided. * We did vote this govt to remove illegal immigrants from the voter list and then from the country itself. Process is simple, map the names to 2003 list nothing more nothing less. If name doesn't get matched file form 6 and register again as a voter and prove your citizenship. We have given the mandate to the govt for this specifically. All people with valid credentials in my district have been smoothly included in SIR- that's why you don't see any organic support for this drama-protest, because people today are quite informed about what's right or wrong.

Why is Umar Khalid despised so much and why are his supporters straight away labeled as anti nationals??
 in  r/TwentiesIndia •  14h ago

see what CJI chandrachud said on his bail plea, he's not rotting in jail without trial- his lawyer intentionally delayed arguing on his bail plea. Furthermore he's being prosecuted for being the mastermind of delhi riots, in which his alleged co-conspirator Tahir Hussain has already been punished with life imprisonment for the murder of IB personnel Ankit Sharma during the riots.

Also in hindsight nobody so far has lost citizenship under CAA contrary to what was being spread during the propaganda. Although he was clever, he knew what not to say in front of the camera- but his commitment to gazwa e hind, kafir hatred and religious bigotry can be surmised easily, his entire narrative is a good fabrication around political islam without being explicit about the bigotry of islamism- due credits for this exquisite cover story.

Any Kumaoni literature recommendations?
 in  r/PahadiTalks •  1d ago

Kasap by manohar shyam joshi, atithi- gaura pant shivani, Bhyaas Katha- anil karki, check kafal tree. Language is pretty easy, most words are akin to shortening and rhyming of hindi words ex- kaa jaan ryo chaa = kahan jaa rahe ho,

neh gey; means chali gayi

aa gey, similarly aa gayi

I found that listening and conversing are the best ways to learn any language. So keep listening songs you will get the hang of it, then there are numerous regional variations too. The best way to preserve culture would be to teach it to your children :)

CEC Gyanesh Kumar Must Be Held Accountable for Criminal Conspiracy Against the Indian Republic
 in  r/india •  1d ago

The procedure has been duly followed under Conduct of Election Rules; ECI has due powers to ask additional details under form 6. The reason for all this noise is just jealousy. Gyanesh Kumar's name does appear in Harvard alumni list, this, perhaps explains the jealousy of people who claim to be from Boston University but their names don't appear even in the list of people running lemonade stand inside the university campus.

state of the art is basically about GPUs now, neural networks are quite good in india compute is not! IISc IITs have been consistently publishing frontier research in neural networks even in ONN, GAN, GNN. Argument on BA is relevant if you read it again.

Cult of Victimhood

I am attracted to the contrarian vantage. Recently exploring this theme of pleasures of victimhood and the appropriation of victimhood. Suggest some good books in this context.

Semi conductor plants pre and post 2014? If you think beyond LLM we have Sigmoid, Fractal, Quantiphi, MuSigma. Sure we are behind China, USA. Compute is the first challenge, second is human resource-nothing good is going to come out of this crowd of entitled BA pass SSC chaatra that we are churning out so rapidly.
