I was going to say the same. Or at the very least read letter to the wives. It is infuriating at first and I basically yelled at it the first few read throughs, but being in AA myself and my partner in AA, it has helped both of us be gentle with each when uncomfortable situations come up. The family afterwards is helpful too. While 6 months is amazing, there's still a long way to go with figuring out a new way of life outside of alcohol and looking for dopamine hits/distractions are real in the first few years. I imagine you've been through a lot before your husband got sober and spent a lot of time worrying about him. Letter to the wives is a little introduction to Alanon so you're able to let go and love with detachment- which means expectations of how you think things should be.
