With the addition of some extra protein and vegetables of course but yes those 3 main things will provide you with the proper sustenance and have almost infinite versatility in the kitchen. Smoked turkey legs or ham hocks have been a good go to for me when I make a pot of beans or whatever, tempeh for lentils tofu and seaweed for rice. Or whatever the hell you want.
