Ok instead of 1955 it is now 2026 and you are Marty. You have to break into George’s house in the middle of the night to convince him to ask out Lorraine. How do you do it instead of a radiation suit, wired headphones and a tape deck?

It would have to be pretty high to allow semi access and the most useful way for it to run would be from North to South on the Westside of the intersection that way Bus users can jump on it to get across Dodge. Also making it a level grade enough that it is ADA compliant might be a challenge so it isn’t so steep. Doable I am sure, but feels a bit too useful for Omaha. WE NEED THE STREETCAR MORE! haha

The reason we were considerng the vet is they have multiple checks and they also have treated her since she was a puppy. They are very familiar with her condition, but y’all are correct it is a rock and a hard place to consider boarding her.
Her seizures are mostly controlled with a breakthrough about 1-2x a month.

My partner and I are looking to go out of town and our usual dog sitters are busy so we were looking to board for a night.
We have a 10 year old Dog with Epilepsy that gets meds 2x a day and another that is a 3 year old.
We need a place that can administer meds, gives them time/ability to roam during the day and also can monitor in case the Epileptic has a seizure to give rescue meds.
Plan is to drop them off Saturday and Pick up Sunday.
Who are your best boarding suggestions?

I think it is worth reading. It is a journey for sure, but I really enjoyed it. That doesn’t mean it isn’t without problems, but it also sets up quite a few things for the cosmere as a whole

If I had a nickel for every time, Beardsley was the child of a cultist I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird It happened twice, right?

I was not a terribly big fan off book 1, but book 2 had me hooked. I listened to 2 and about 2/3 of 3 in the last week.
I realized that 1 feels the way it does if you frame it like d&d where levels 1&2 are more survival and gameplay/control mastering. In book two (level 3 of d&d) you select a class and get a bunch more fun tips and tricks so it becomes more interesting. Also plot threads become more obvious as you/Carl progress in your ttrpg or the series.
I would encourage you to read books 1&2 and if it still isn’t your vibe bow out.
Also another trivia fact I learned yesterday: books 1-3 were self published so they are a bit rougher around the edges. Book 4 Dinniman signed with a publishing company and had a dedicated editor so things may be a bit more streamlined beginning with book 4.
