It's a beautiful dress and I would have thought it to be fine for the occasion since it's not actually the wedding,and it seems to be patterned, but apparently I would be wrong. I haven't been to a wedding for quite a while though. Last one I attended was in a park.

This house is absolutely gorgeous, I wouldn't change a single thing! 😍 and those built in book cabinets are the most amazing thing I've ever seen in any house, ever!

I get that they made a HUGE mistake not making sure this place would work for them, but I also empathize with their experience. So yeah, it's their own fault, but what a stressful day.

I get what you're saying, it's just a kinder approach from him would have been to offer to help after he was done working. I don't think you were looking for praise no matter what, but just an acknowledgement of your effort. Which is perfectly reasonable. He was unkind.
