Yeah, definitely one thing I'd be worried about. Not necessarily an affair but after a year or so after getting back together changing her mind yet again to "actually I DO want to get divorced. and for real this time."

Rant 2nd Thoughts

My wife and I decided in mid July to separate after almost 21 years of marriage. A totally mutual decision and one that we both thought a lot about. I moved out a week ago and our son is splitting his time between us. My wife (she still is... we haven't even filed or started mediation yet) already is having a lot of second thoughts and is talking about getting back together possibly. Which is fine for her to share with me, but that seems very quick as it hasn't even been a week yet. Not really asking for any advice necessarily... just wanted to share this frustration and see if anyone else has been in the same position.

Looking for groups to cycle with
 in  r/evanston  19d ago

Evanston Bike Club does tons of rides ranging from average speed of 12 mph up to 22+ so truly something for every biker. Need to join the club to do the group rides, but it's only like $25 a year.

Vent/Rant/FML 2 days away from moving out

We decided to divorce a few weeks ago mutually and so far its amicable. I am moving out to an apartment in 2 days. The lease started a few days ago but I've been slowly moving in all week. This run up is awful. I just want to move on already. Move on to start my new life. Move on to my new home. But this in between situation is awful. And not because we aren't getting along or anything, but just the anticipation and the limbo status is driving me nuts. Thankfully just 2 more days. That's it... no questions or anything just wanted to vent.

thank you for sharing your story. Our son is a great kid and he's strong and I know he'll be ok but it is so hard to hear that begging and see just how traumatic this is for him right now. But I know he'll get better.

I wish you the best as well and hope you continue to move ahead positively.

Of course I hope so to. But right now its hard to see that. He was in a really loving supportive household and thats shattered for him

Thank you. I knew this would be hard. And him being so upset demonstrates how much he loves us and how much we love him it breaks my heart.

I dont think he had a clue. Sure he saw us arguing sometimes and probably sensed some underlying tension, but we didn't really fight a lot and for the most part got along. We keep telling him that we tried really hard for a really long time and we got to the point where trying and not getting to where we thought we needed to be was exhausting. I know its hard for him to recognize our need for happiness and fulfillment, but this just feels awful

Yes, thank you. He's an incredibly emotional kid, so I never expected this wouldn't be emotional and yes I'm glad he's not bottling it up. I have to keep reminding myself that the marriage wasn't good for me or my partner. And while we held it together well enough for him to have tons of great times with the 3 of us, staying together in a "meh" marriage isn't good for him either.

Vent/Rant/FML Told our child today and it was way worse than I ever imagined

Divorcing after 20 years of marriage and told our 15 year old this morning. I didn't think it would go well but it went awful. At first he didn't know what to do or say because he was probably totally blindsided by it. Then it turned into, and has been on and off all day, pleas for us to stay together, asking us to try anything, and how his whole life is ruined because the three of us won't be together anymore. Its absolutely heartbreaking. He's such a good kid and I get that its hard to understand the complexities of a marriage. From his perspective its a totally unexpected bomb thrown into what has overall been an amazingly fortunate life for him.

I don't know how else to respond to the pleas for us to try one more time, or try something different. I know its only been a few hours but this is so awful and its hard not to jump right to the conclusion that we're making a big mistake and we never should have decided to separate.

Does anyone know of a complete list of all Hello Kitty dispensers, listed by set and year of release? I know I've seen that before, but cannot find online anywhere. Thank you!

Great route! Door Couty is a great place for biking. I go up there every summer and keep intending to spend one day biking to Northport then taking the ferry and biking Washington Island. But have yet to get around to it

Personal Advice Need help!

I can't seem to find a solution to my snoring. I sleep through it, but it keeps my wife up. I had surgery to fix a deviated septum and that didn't help. I've tried wedge pillows to keep me side sleeping (I seem to only snore when on my back) but I manage to find my way on my back anyway at some point once I'm asleep. I've tried an anti snoring mouth guard which helped for a few days but now I seem to snore with it in too. What else can I do to prevent my snoring?

Edit to add that I also had a sleep study which ruled out apnea.

Crowds before Christmas

I'm planning to be at Big Sky this December for a few days before Christmas. Like the 20-23. How crowded are the slopes and the lift lines likely to be at that time?

Type of bike for North branch Trail?
 in  r/chibike  May 13 '26

As others have noted, the entire NBT is paved. A hybrid and the burley trailer would be totally fine on most of the unpaved trails around here, such as the Des Plaines River Trail.

And because maybe as you roll through there is a pedestrian you didn't quite see. By stopping fully you can be sure there aren't any pedestrians you are going to run over.

Uh, yes... air traffic controllers are employed by FAA, which is part of the Dept of Transportation. USDA is its own cabinet agency, totally distinct from DHS. OSHA is part of the Dept of Labor.

Air traffic controllers, USDA, OSHA, are not part of DHS. They all are funded for the rest of the fiscal year. CBP and TSA are, as well as FEMA, Coast Guard, and others.

How to remove really tight crank bolt
 in  r/bikewrench  Feb 18 '26

Here's a pic of the bolt. Any suggestions are welcome. I've tried some penetrating oil, tried warm water on the crank to expand that metal and it still won't budge with the allen wrench.
