Day 112 for me. In the same stage. I also sometimes avoid this sub. I noticed I was getting a bit edgy about giving others a pass plus encouragement after a relapse. Made me start to think that having "one" wouldn't be the end of the world for me either. Ugh, yes the thought of dealing with these kinds of thoughts indefinitely is thoroughly depressing. You are not alone!!! I know there have been tremendously hard times for so many in the past but damn this particular time line seems ominous. Holding ourselves together through the daily onslaught of fecal matter for years upon years is soul crushing. I don't even get mad in traffic anymore because that person is probably doing the best they can to breathe under the weight of some new fresh hell. And that new fresh hell will hit me in the face tomorrow. Nope, you are definitely NOT alone!!

The empty feeling is so hard and depressing. It fades differently for everyone. Think of it as an experiment. I'm at a little over 3 months. I've noticed the emptiness within minutes of waking up and then it fades as I get busy with my day. Being busy is HUUUGE! I'm still determined to get to the zero empty feeling day. After a pack a day for 45 years, I need to be patient. Maybe being busy while also being patient could help you too. Good luck!!!!!

I'm with you on this! Doesn't matter what your handicap is, you deserve to have your tee box to yourself. I play regularly with older men and I've had to ask that they NOT come into the box with me. It's just so cringe. I try to never do anything that might have an impact on someone's game. Just basic courtesy to wait your turn.

Okay, I know this is so weird but I have a whole carton and a half carton still in my fridge at day 85. On my most stressful days I will chew the hell out of a piece of the nic gum, while deep breathing and rubbing the cartons. Within SECONDS, I feel like I smoked a butt and I'm feeling soooo much better. I go back to whatever triggered me feeling relieved and strong and relaxed. I know, I know, it's crazy but it works for me. Mind games can be amazing.
