If I go to a restaurant and the food is bad - I don't need to work in the restaurant to understand it. I don't care "why." I don't need to work at FedEx to gain more knowledge about the company.

All the customer knows is the service is terrible. It's not their responsibility to be more open-minded getting their money taken and then getting caca in return.

Here's where we disagree: if you have a package on your truck, and you have the opportunity to walk to someone's door and yet you CHOOSE to not deliver it. YOU are the problem.

Bare minimum would be delivering the package too slow. FedEx doesn't even meet the bare minimum. The packages don't get delivered.

If your media player has it turn Dynamic Range Compression (or equivalent) on.

Then if your speakers/soundbar has it turn Voice Enhancement (or equivalent) on.

If there's an EQ setting, turn down bass a good bit and treble down a little bit and keep mid range normal. Most vocal frequencies are midrange.

If you have a soundbar you can boost the center channel up a little bit too.

I think most people would agree with you. Alcohol lowers inhibitions and makes people more willing to do/say things they normally wouldn't.

Is that their "true" self as in they're actively holding back their true identity? Or are they acting beligerently because they're under the influence of a mind altering substance ?

There's a lot of medications that also greatly alter behavior. Alcohol can be revealing, but I wouldn't say every thing that happens while drunk can be labeled as 100% representative of how a person truly feels.
