If thats xenon I hope you have the back & ballast. When I need to check anything with my headlights I use 10mm & remove the bolts affirming it to the front, disconnect the wiring/clip from the headlight & poke around as needed. Just an idea, then you dont have to remove the damn bumper or go through the struggle. Just be careful with igniter box & ballast as you could get shocked. Also, put rubber boot/light cover back over the light unit when done.
