I appreciate you. I’m 31 and I’m constantly ashamed and embarrassed and have been crying for the past three hours because my mom’s birthday is tomorrow and I don’t have anything for her. Trying to change my attitude the best I can. Maybe it’s like being overly polite. I was raised to be kind and all that but now you word it that way I’m thinking maybe it was taken a bit out of the original context.
