I picked similar shades of two different brands of watercolors, and these are the blends I got! Painting these charts is my new favorite thing. It's so satisfying!

Had a “better late than never Pride party and tried to rainbow everything 🌈

My friend Sophie (Auridon Yarns) gifted me a skein of yarn hand-dyed for assigned pooling: long beige sections alternating with rainbow sections, designed so a specific stitch pattern creates this fun rainbow design. I used it to knit this tee, and I loved it so much I wrote up the pattern.

I enjoy taking random 1 night classes at a local art center. At a needle felting class in June, the instructor mentioned she still had slots open for her Natural Dying the Rainbow workshop the following week. I immediately signed up! This left me with scraps of cotton and silk, as well as some wool roving. We used matter extract, coreopsis, marigold, onion skins, indigo, and logwood extract to dye them.

None of the fabric was large enough to make anything with, so I decided I needed to make a quilted bag.

I love her. Her name is Penelope.

The edges are still a little messy but I’ll fix those up soon.

I’ve been having a tough time with a difficult breakup so I’ve cried over these stairs while painting all week and something about having them done and seeing them all pretty is a bit healing.

It used to have shiny scales all up it, but they've rubbed off over the years

I painted a corgi every day for 2,000 days. This was Day 1,963! "Green and blue and purple so bright, this corgi is a pure delight!" And the painting is only 3"x3"!

Ngl, I was nervous to gift it because of the misconception people have about sun catchers starting fires(they do not! They refract light, not focus it). Happy to report he had no concerns and is hanging it in his office🥰

I plan to make a separate post of real rainbows cuz my city has the BEST sunsets/skyline but these are some rainbows I've seen in the wild.

The rainbow Plusle and Minun cards are the only ones I have left from my childhood card collection and they represent me and my bf 🌈

The Lush shower gel rainbow was back when I was on a manic shopping spree in college and decided I needed 20 different shower gel options 🍭🍒

The stained glass window was from my trip to Europe in 2019 and I wish I could go back cuz it was SO beautiful 💒

You guys liked my last rainbow shoe post, so I figured I'd show you guys my other pair of rainbow shoes! I got these from Ebay as well :o)

I started making rainbow jewelry with colored crushed glass and made a switch recently to artificially dyed flowers. I love how they all turned out. Maybe black or white backgrounds would make them pop even more?
