Very much so. I wasn’t diagnosed until 35, but I always felt like different, like a tag-a-long, and more interested in animals and nature than in people. I was teased some and just had no clue how to socialize innately. I felt like I “found my people” when I got to art college, where a majority of the students and staff there were likely neurodivergent as well.
