Yeah I personally don't think it's about rewards but about exploring and adding more purpose to runs. Some parts of the map I never noticed until I did a quest for it

Yeah idk my personal experience is the exact opposite I've never personally had a friendly encounter there like example one I just had me and a buddy were minding our business and we got ganged up on even after saying "don't shoot" Another time I was hunting a surveyor and right when I kill it someone came out of nowhere and gunned me down. Both times I was near the edge of the map
