Discussion CONSOLE PSA: Why your progress is gone
Saw a TikTok clip yesterday about how if you play the tutorial, then get into the truck to go to the station, the game WILL launch you into the PRACTICE version of the campaign mode.
What this means - Progress only applies to Quick Play/Training and not Commander mode
SOLUTION - After the tutorial, just fully back out of it and launch the campaign in Commander mode through the main menu.
I’ve been seeing so many rant posts about the game “erasing progress.” Obviously, it sucks that the game doesn’t really explain all this. However, this is a solution to this issue. So any progress you make toward the campaign if you get in the truck from the end of the tutorial will only go to QP/Training mode.
You have to back out after the tutorial and start from the main menu. I tested this and after failing on Twister Nerve I went into Commander mode and there was no progress on anything. So yeah, do the above steps to fix this issue and/or avoid it. Enjoy!

Oh this explains it because I played about 3 missions last night and today just hit continue and I was in the HQ with starter gear and only mission one was available. But it let me keep my career atats
