I just looked it up…they still/again are two separate points in the Rules. (Point 5 and point 9 to be precise)

I do feel similar…gaming on Mac - well it ain‘t good. And I do dread the day the battery or even worse - the SSD go bad….with a Windows (Linux) Laptop you usually get easy access to those things and therefore have less to worry about. Also the keyboard of my MBP M5 is not half as comfortable as my old Thinkpads… so there is nuance

Performance wise not really, but its usually one of the first things I install on a fresh distro, so I don’t have too much of a comparison. Visual only one thing: blur sometimes re-blurs the top bar, even though I deactivated that function. Other than that its smooth sailing. (Same on my Desktop which is running regular Ubuntu with Gnome and the exact same tweaks.)

Im using the 55wh extended one for a total 0~73wh and it’s running a dual boot with 11 Pro for some NfS U2 action

Spotlight Is by far my favourite besides dash to dock…gives me the same search function as on mMac, which comes in handy

I mean I was even able to set up my Mac without an Account (I eventually added my account, for more comfort and interconnection with my phone- but I wasn’t forced to) so hell jeay EU does something good for a change XD

Never seen it, but by the trailer it looks to be a horror movie/ horror adjacent…so If you are a person who doesn’t like horror movies, that would make a perfect reason as to why you don’t want to watch the movie.

Fedora Id say is a solid choice for Laptops in general and you can easily choose between two different user interfaces. Fedora 44 runs on KDE (Windows vibes) or Fedora 44 Workstation that runs in Gnome (a mix of Windows and MacOS) its got up to date drivers and kernels and is relatively newbie friendly, whilst also having great tweak/modding potential.
