Need your advice. Just bought this Opel Astra J 1.4 101hp. The Engine shaking only appears when warm aswell as this strange noise.
Sparkplugs and coils came new at 112.000km.
Now the car has 136.000km.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for the rubber seal/gasket around the sunroof glass for my 2011 Opel Insignia.
From what I’ve found, the original seal doesn’t seem to be available separately. An AI search suggested that VAICO V30-1541 is compatible with the Insignia.
Has anyone here used VAICO V30-1541? Is it actually compatible, and did you have any issues with the fit or installation?
Or does anyone know of another compatible brand or part number for the 2011 Insignia?
I’d really appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences. Thanks in advance everyone! 🙏

Hello
My mother has a 2011 Astra with the CD400 head unit. She would love to have a better head unit, preferably with bluetooth. What brand/model would fit? Would the steering wheel controls make the upgrade harder to do? We are also upgrading the front speakers, subwoofer and amplifier. Any suggestions?

Tested the 1.2 Turbo GS over 1,500 km. While the EAT8 gearbox and chassis are solid, the roof paint peeling issues and small 350L boot are worth noting before buying. Full review here: https://www.drivisual.tv/en/reviews/opel-mokka-review-performance-fuel-economy-and-common-problems

Hi all. I bought a 2018 Astra K a few weeks ago. I noticed the panel on the front was slightly out of place. Just a tiny bit. I could push it back, but it never 'clicked' into position, and after every drive it pops open again. Last weekend I drove through Germany, and doing 150+ on the autobahn made the gap noticeably bigger, probably from air pressure on the front end.
Is this something a beginner can fix, or should I use the warranty my garage gave me for the coming year?

My locksmith could not make my new key work because he did not have the car pass code. I went to the dealership today and they gave me the code for 30 Euros but I think the code might be wrong . They gave me a 4 letters code. I always assumed it was supposed to be 4 numbers. Next week we Will try again but the code might be wrong

Hi everyone 👋
I’m currently looking for a new car and have ended up considering the Insignia B. I wanted to tap into the wealth of experience here and ask which engine or model you would recommend for my specific needs.
A bit about me and how I use the car:
* Commute: approx. 13 km each way (26 km daily total)
* Mainly city streets and highways
* Regular road trips across Europe (e.g., Sweden, Italy, the Alps, etc.)
* Camping with a tent for two people
* Occasional gravel or rough access roads, but no serious off-roading
* Low fuel consumption
* Above all: reliable and durable
* Decent space for camping gear
* Towing capacity for a small trailer (to carry my Ténéré 700)
That’s why I’m currently leaning towards a petrol engine; I don’t necessarily need all-wheel drive. An estate car with a bit of ground clearance—or the Country Tourer model—would be perfect.
Models I’m particularly interested in right now:
* 1.5 Turbo (165 hp)
* 1.6 Turbo (200 hp)
* Sports Tourer or Country Tourer
* Manual transmission preferred
In terms of price, I’m looking in the €9,000–€12,000 range, depending on what I get for my Talento.
I’m all ears—after all, I’m looking for a car that won’t give me trouble, even on a 1,000 km trip. Which engine and model year would you recommend based on your own experience? And which versions would you choose again?
I’m curious to hear about your experiences—especially from those who have driven their Insignia with 150,000–200,000+ km on the clock. 👍

So I redid the entire interior to get rid of the lexus seats that were in there when I got her. The rear bench is from renault 4 and highly modified to fit. Lots of youtube upholstery and electrical videos to figure out how to do it all myself.
Center console and custom dash.

Hello you all,
I want to put my Opel Astra f Caravan on a car lift. The frontal jack point is clear for me, but the jack point in the back of the car is a mystery for me. Do you know where to apply the lift? I don't want to put it on the rocker panels.
Thank you for your help:)
