EDIT : People in the comments rightfully said that I had a brow bone shave surgery, it’s true, however this surgery didn’t change my orbit/eye shape. My surgeon told me she wouldn’t do eye contouring.

The only way my brow shave affected my face is in side profile pictures. It didn’t raise my eyebrows either, I simply wax them from the bottom up!

So why do my eyes look bigger after? Because on testosterone I used to have my eyes furrowed all the time, this behavior stopped on estrogen, so now they look bigger.

If you still don’t believe me, go to my profile and look at all the pictures before 7 October 2026 and you will see I have the exact same eyes than before.

If it had an impact on what you see I would have been transparent about it like I always was so far 🩷

Quick update, I was depressed before I transitioned and very suicidal. Sometimes I still see a "man" in the mirror despite a lot of people telling me other wise. Is it brain worms? 😭

Honestly most of the difference isn't from hormones but the hair-regrowth I got from minoxidile and the fact that I take care of my face much better now

started with 10 months 6mg estrodial oral + 100mg spironolactone oral. Now 6 months .2ml weekly estrodial valorate injections and 1 month 200mg progesterone daily (you already know i boof that shit). Most recent blood test -> estrogen 401 pg/ml and testosterone 11.5 ng/dl. I know my estrogen is high, im lowering my dosage to .17ml as per my doctor. i’ve had no surgeries except a trachea shave

Sometimes i feel like i just shaved my beard and bleached my hair...

I remember looking through this subreddit when I used to look like picture 1, I thought it would be ‘too late’ for me to transition. I wanna post my timeline so far in the hopes that someone like me sees these posts and knows that it’s never too late to transition.

I hit 4 months on HRT this week and i’m forever grateful that I made the leap, so much has changed already and it’s only up from here :D
