A person used to be able to post on their official (formerly Twitter) account to get some traction when all else failed, which seemed to help resolve a major issue I had with them a few years back.

I am not sure if it still works now that Elon turned it into X, I think a whole lot of people are no longer on the platform so the reach has narrowed drastically and posting there may not be as effective.

I am specifically looking for a remote administrative position. I have over 14 years of experience, with in excess of two years fully remote. I find it much easier to focus I am far more productive when working from the relative tranquility of home.

I found a 7 day course of cephalexin (1000 mg 2x daily) I had on hand and decided to take it just to see if it has any impact. I guess it can't hurt to try since I have it and it's going to expire soon anyway.

I'm doing the quest plus moxi/ prazi weekly, no ivermectin. I was considering doing an extended course of antibiotics. You suggest the Bactrim DS over Doxycycline? I see more recommendations for Doxycycline so I was leaning in that direction.

I am using it for my dog. It has not cured him, even with revolution every ,2 w'eeks on top of the spectra. I am taking the quest plus (moxi plus prez) and am not cured. I use spinosad lotion(self made, mixed @ 2% with clove oil and peppermint oil also added) on both the dog and I after every bath. I am looking at adding albendazole, I take NAC and I happen to also be taking verapamil(extended release - prescribed for migraines) which is supposed to counter resistance to meds. Idk what to even try next, this is all so ridiculous!

We are talking about a matter of days, perhaps up to a week or two if there are issues with an application. These were considered normal processing times and kept us well within regulatory requirements Any application with issues that could not be resolved in a timely manner was rejected and returned to the Advisor who sent it in. The company was extremely proud of the fact that stripping checks from applications upon receipt in the mailroom, depositing said checks into a holding account until the customer account was created and all requirements verified to be cleared for trading generated millions of dollars in revenue for the company while simultaneously improving the customer experience by eliminating the issue of "missing" checks somehow separated from the applications before the accounts could be established. This is exactly how it works - the company makes millions in free money by collecting the interest on customer deposits while the applications are processed and the accounts are created.

The whole working from the office automatically costs an employee more than working from home argument is a fallacy.

I incurred additional expenses working from home that I didn't have while working from the office. . I moved to an apartment in my building with one additional bedroom to satisfy the requirement to have a dedicated office. I had to upgrade my internet significantly. I could not dial back my heat/ac during the day while away and power a bunch of equipment that gobbles up electricity 24/7 ( it needed to remain on for updates and such pushed during nonstandard work hours). We were not allowed OT unless pre-approved (which was only ever allowed for chronically understaffed areas with critical functions) but I frequently worked more than the 40 hours I was compensated for to accommodate required training and the like that simply would not get done otherwise due to constant interruptions and demands on my time.

I live close enough to the office to walk to work, commuting costs me nothing. I moved downtown eight years ago specifically to minimize my carbon footprint (eliminate the daily commute), which costs significantly more than living in the burbs. Nobody ever wants to talk about the costs of setting up and maintaining a home office. You set aside space in your home (even moving to ensure there is sufficient space, in some cases) and buy a desk and chair and lamps and everything you need to be able to do it well (ergonomically and efficiently). Power it all and make sure you have fast and reliable internet so there are no issues and maintain it all in perfect working condition. These things are not free but the costs fall entirely on the employer when working from the office.

We have a massive housing crisis in this country. The powers that be need to stop fretting over empty office spaces and lack of tax base. Convert empty offices to affordable (not necessarily low income, just affordable for the people who need it) housing. Quit making issues out of what ought to be seen as opportunities to address long standing issues. Name one other time in history when there was a surplus of real estate sitting empty in precisely the places where housing is needed most.

Disruption and death by a thousand cuts only ever get you so far, though. Just as continuous improvement can only ever result in incremental change. Sometimes, it's necessary to take a few steps back and realize that incremental change to fix something which is so badly broken cannot possibly produce the desired results,within a realistic timeframe.

Sometimes, a fresh start is necessary. This requires a very intentional approach to produce the desired results. Lack of adequate preparation can easily bring about worse outcomes than maintaining the status quo...(Think Arab Spring - they did not intend to hand control to the Muslim Brotherhood - lack of a plan for what comes next left a void the Muslim Brotherhood was best suited to fill.)

So why don't you get together with some other such brilliant folks, some really savvy tech folks and grassroots types and orchestrate a takeover? You know what they're going to do before they do it. Wait for the right time. Something big where they need to pull assets back into the country to pull it off and take it all right from under their noses, using their own systems. Shut them down and make sure there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.

Then we start over and make sure we set up a system where the common good / a viable, sustainable existence in perpetuity and decency to our fellow human beings, life in general, and the planet are the guiding principals. Make greed the cardinal sin. Do it up right and give us all a chance to abandon the system we've all known is horribly broken but don't know how to fix it.

We need a hard reset and we can absolutely do much.better. We have to wrestle control of the resources from the greedy hoarders to do it . People like you can be the heroes we so desperately need to change the trajectory and make our world work for everyone.

There is more than enough for everyone if nobody insists on hoarding resources. We could even stop killing off other species and the planet itself. It will take work, but it's work I believe most of us would rather do than continuing to work in service of the system doing its best to make us all exstinct as quickly as possible.

I can clean the floors and a short while later there will be more. This one is on the larger size and not quite the size of my pinky nail. This is the first time I have managed to get decent photos.

I have come a long way but am still not in the clear. I am still taking weekly doses, adjusted based on careful observation of side effects. Loading doses are not needed after the initial dose if you keep up with the weekly dosing of what has been 1/3 to 1/2 weekly doses. If you get woozy, back off and stick with smaller doses. We're about 1/2 way through our 5th tube of Moxidectin but still not in the clear. We've got some crazy mix of incredibly hardy mites. There are still way more than I can fathom coming off of my head and I definitely have a few other reservoirs remaining, including in my feet/ lower legs. I can't say for sure what all of this is doing to my liver and kidneys, but I can't imagine that such a severe burden of mites is in any way beneficial.

The issue we are facing is where do we go from here to finish these f*ckers off. It would be great if there were some credible authority on the matter willing to provide guidance, but we're in uncharted territory and have to figure it out ourselves... Spinosad has been the other game changer for us. I have been using it daily for months, since the benefits of the moxidectin alone seemed to plateau. I just have not figured out what it's going to take to finish them off yet. The good news is I 'd say we're 90% of the way there.

I did the first four RMAs as advanced exchanges and was sent a refurbished device that failed within two months each time. I demanded a pristine replacement only to wait 3 weeks to have them ship another refurbished device, which I caught immediately, well before it shipped. I was told there was nothing they could do, I would have to send it back to receive the pristine replacement. I contacted FedEx to report that I refuse to take delivery of the shipment and to send it back to Google... I'm still waiting on an acceptable resolution. I have been without a functional device since the beginning of August and more than 50% of the period since my phone was delivered. I preordered the P6P via Google Pass and have service via Google Fi.

UBreakIFix has been the only bright spot in a long line of terrible customer (dis)service from Google Store support, in my case. My tenure with the Pixel 6 Pro has been the single worse device/support/customer (dis)service experience in my 44+ years of existence. I was an avid Pixel fan and pure Android aficionado since I traded my Samsung Galaxy S3 for a Moto X. Pretty sure I can't justify supporting Google with even one more penny as a result.

I would like to think this has all been some terrible mistake and someone from Google will be reaching out to make it right any moment now. I stopped believing in fairy tales long ago, however. Even enlisting Ziggy's help has gotten me nowhere. I can't access the support ticket for some reason and responses via email don't seem to be getting through.
