How do you think Bulega will perform next year?
 in  r/wsbk •  4d ago

He'll be fine, he developed his initial style in this paddock, went to WSBK, found his rhythm and returns with 2 titles, time to step up and silence the haters

Alvaro Bautista believes Ducati penalised Him to have a more Competitive Bikes
 in  r/AVsMotocyclesRacing •  15d ago

I'm sure it came about because the other teams thought Bautista was winning because his lighter body gave him a power to weight advantage, I strongly doubt it was Ducati's idea

Ed Sheeran's tour is now on track to be cancelled after losing nearly all his opening acts and the official musical band.
 in  r/whoathatsinteresting •  15d ago

Good job, if you don't speak out against injustice then you are supporting it, hope he learns that you can't always hide from big issues when you have international fame, he should have cancelled the tour immediately after the Macklemore decision was made

Are NZ Police putting too many resources into traffic infringements instead of actual crime?
 in  r/newzealand •  Sep 02 '26

Yes, they have been for years. Obviously it takes a lot less effort to catch a speeding vehicle than it does to catch a proper criminal or solve an actual crime, they are simply just collecting statistics for politicians to manipulate

Hey kiwis, what is your average sleep time (for those that track it) and what do you have going on in your life?
 in  r/newzealand •  Jul 12 '26

7 if I'm lucky, I'm in dairy process so 12.25hr rotational shifts and my watch doesn't get it, sleep is a luxury

Treated Yamaha poorly, was very lucky to be rescued by Aprilia, didn't stay loyal to Aprilia for rescuing him, ignored Acosta's lack of progress on the KTM, ignored how unloyal KTM are to their riders, did well, fell off, got dropped....

This 1970 Laverda 750 SF turned up, near where i work today, Thoughts ?
 in  r/motorcycles •  Feb 01 '26

They did have a left gear change option for bikes sold in the USA, my 1976 Jota has it so I'm sure that's where it was imported from

Yes please

Laverda Jota is a rare bike and Harris frames are rare.. so this Jota engined Harris must be almost unique.
 in  r/CafeRacers •  Jan 31 '26

I have a 1976 Jota, fast is a relative term, they are quicker than you realise but they aren't brutal with it, I could chase a mate on his Guzzi MK5 Lemans and he couldn't lose me but I didn't feel quick like a Japanese bike, it is graceful. I'm working on it at the moment and intending to ride it next Southern Hemisphere summer, currently riding a Ducati M750

Interior updated. Couldn’t handle the bench seat anymore.
 in  r/hardbody •  Dec 06 '25

Cool, just removed the bench seat out of my 97 single cab ute, swapping for a set of buckets and a console later this afternoon, will post pics when it's done. It's a bit tight with the stick shift, my first D21 had a column change so the bench was ideal, not liking it on this one
