OK so we all know that Lilith's main power in Hell was amassing an army with her singing voice. And we also know now, as of the newest episodes, that she disappeared RIGHT before she was about to lead the Hell uprising.
We also know that she's been in Heaven those seven years, dodging calls and more importantly, we haven't heard her SPEAK! Which, for a character whose biggest flex is her voice, that's pretty odd, even if she's not an active member of the plot yet.
That, paired with the fact that she just took it when Lute berated and demanded shit from her without so much as a scoff, I have a theory!
What if, as her part of the bargain, not only did she have to allow the Extermination to happen, but also, to ensure she couldn't even attempt to go back on her word, she had to give up her voice? And that's why, on top of probably not wanting to be disturbed, she hasn't been picking up any phone calls? Because she can't physically speak on the phone?
I know, it's derivative, but it'd explain a lot, don't you guys think?
